I've received a Rainbow cake from a girlfriend a couple of years ago and fell in love with The Original Rainbow cone ever since! Who wouldn't love the multiple layers of deliciousness so when we know our neighborhood opened one, we have to give it a try. Super cute inside with plenty of seating which made me feel like a kid all over again. Service was nice and friendly. Quick and fun. Would definitely be back again!

I had heard about the famous Chicago Rainbow Cone and had to check it out for a late night ice-cream fix. It did not disappoint! Instead of the classic Rainbow Cone I opted for the Chocolate Obsession which was every chocolate lovers' dream. Service was fast! The shop itself is so cute with their colors everywhere from the benches to the paint.

I usually get to the truck when it arrives in my area. Since I was out this way, I remembered the brick store had opened. The inside was bright and clean. Drive through was four cars deep so I chose to go in. I hit it at the right moment as the line piled up behind me. There were people taking pictures on decorated walls which was nice. They have donuts and other sweets that can be jazzed up to your liking. I just came for the ice cream. I got a quart that I was able to pick what I wanted in it and also ordered a cup to eat on my way home. Tasted good to me!

This place is so cute and everywhere you look there's the rainbow! I thought the prices were a little pricey until I saw how BOG the cones really were. The staff was nice and very inviting. The ice cream and milkshake Ms were AWESOME!!!!

Stopped by Rainbow Cone in Orland Park for a classic rainbow ice cream cone! I grew up on rainbow ice cream but am happy to see establishments are slowly making their way to more communities. One can come and order a regular cone or upgrade for a waffle cone. Additionally, one can sub a flavor to get double of another. My favorite flavors are always orange sherbet and pistachio in the stack. They also sell other flavors, rainbow ice cream containers to go, ice cream cakes, and more! The inside has a fun aesthetic with many photo ops and seating. Happy I stopped for a nostalgic cone

Very poor job personalizing

Ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday. They offer personalization with pre written sayings- birthday, graduation, those sort of things. I requested "happy birthday" be written on the cake. They require three hours to personalize it. Take a look at the cake; does this look like something they should be proud to sell? Please don't offer personalization if the staff is not trained to write on cakes. This is a joke. I'll be trying my hardest to cover this before my daughter's birthday gathering tomorrow. Definitely disappointed. I can't believe I spent 40 dollars to be embarrassed of how the cake looks..

When you hear the phrase "taste the rainbow", this is what people are talking about. The original store on Western has been a staple in Chicago for so many years, I was only a kid when my grandma introduced me to the Original Rainbow Cone. They had ice-cream flavors like pistachio; a creamy green flavor with chopped nuts inside and palmer house; a rich vanilla with cherries and walnuts. Add that with the chocolate, the strawberry and famous orange sherbet and you will have the perfect rainbow cone. This new location in Orland Park/Tinley boarder is absolutely beautiful! Ice cream colors everywhere, check out the details in the floor when you visit. There is also a beautiful outdoor seating area. The store was a bit crowded but the lines moved nicely. The only difference between the baby cone and the original cone is the shape. You still get all of the flavors. It was so good!

An fascinating place that we checked out on vacation, because of the reputation. I personally had a lovely and decadent shake, which was highly enjoyable, but a few in my group got the original Rainbow Cone, which really did look fun and interesting!

The Original Rainbow Cone has branched out from their humble roots in Beverly, and in doing so, they managed to keep up the yummy goodness and not sacrifice quality. It's been a lot of years since I had a Rainbow Cone and it was as wonderful as I remembered. Pistachio and cherry and sherbet and chocolate make the best combination. Wonderful and helpful young staff working there was nice.

Rainbow cone ice cream cake.

I placed an order for a birthday cake. I wanted it to say Happy Birthday. This is what I got. Could you imagine if I put somebody's name on it? I doubt it would be legible. This is the first time I've ordered an ice cream cake from them, and by the looks of it it will be the last. Last. Very disappointing.

Delicious!!!! The way these 5 flavors work together is insane!!! Who knew!?? A childhood favorite that i have now turned my girls into lovers also. This is a MUST TRY!?? Why??? Because no one EVER has done it quite like this.

Came here on a weekday and this place was still pretty packed! Tried their original cone and was amazingly surprised. I didn't think all 5 flavors would blend so well together. I would highly recommend trying their original cone. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of their flavors, shakes, and cakes.

The manager Tracy has terrible customer service and had a real bad attitude. She needs training on how to treat customers!

Absolutely the best sherbet, I remember them in Chicago so I was glad they came to the suburbs.

I also like that they have like different flavors every time I go Sum the same because they're reliable, but they always have flavors to choose from that. I would definitely consume. The latest time I went, I decided to try the Korean corn dogs and they were big suckers. I did half beef sausage and half cheese and there was a very good cheese pull. I usually like their mochi donuts they're chewy and light and they taste like the flavors that they are labeled as. I went with a peach Mojito for a drink, and it was very refreshing. There were little peach fruit bits at the bottom too to really give you more of a peach flavor. I tried more. It was a very refreshing summer drink.

The place is cute and cozy; only one person was working, so we wiped down our own table (no big deal). I ordered a strawberry smoothie boba with mango boba pearls, absolutely delicious! The mochi donuts were also amazing - soft, chewy, and flavorful. I just wish they had been a bit warmer or fresher out of the fryer, but still totally worth it. The Korean corn dogs are made fresh to order, and WOW, they were incredible. The hot Cheetos corn dog was my favorite by far. The gentleman working was so kind and clearly hardworking. We'll definitely be back!

Like watered down, no flavor just color. Tried calling them only to be told by the answering machine that their voice mailbox if full. The other cashier came back with the exact item I had asked for. Like ???? Ok girl! Genuinely curious why I'm getting attitude for showing up at your place of employment when your job is to serve customers. It can't be that serious. Also wondering if the owner knows they're not allowing customers inside.
