They proudly serve 48 flavors of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream! You could easily take a loooong time deciding on what flavor to try. In this case, we both opted for Turtle, a flavor we had never seen in CA. It's vanilla ice cream with caramel, fudge and pecans mixed in. Yum. Located conveniently in the downtown of Lake Geneva, it was walking distance from our hotel. I only wish we had a Scoops in California.

I went for the Raspberry Rhapsody, a black raspberry ice cream with a raspberry swirl and chocolate raspberry truffle-like chocolates mixed in. It was absolutely delicious! We also tried to blue moon which is a classic. The ice cream here has a very interesting texture to it, while its very creamy it has a very unique "stretchiness," almost gumminess, and is rather thick. The taste was good, just a rather unique texture that we actually both individually commented on across different flavors. The service was wonderful, very quick. There was almost no line (though we were there on a fall evening). There are about 4-5 tables of 4ish seats outside so this isn't a spot that you'll sit down in the ice cream shop for a while. I imagine most people "grab and go" and walk down to the water which is just across the street. Overall, would definitely recommend trying this spot in downtown Lake Geneva if you're looking for a sweet treat!

I rarely eat marzipan, but when I do, I'm always reminded of how much I love almond paste. Yum yum. The people who I was with who got ice cream said that their ice cream was good. I took their word for it because I'm not a big ice cream fan! The people behind the counter were very patient, as some of the people in my group were indecisive.
