Woohoo! It's finally open! Located in the old Heck's building (don't worry, Hecks just moved to the old MELT building), OPH is situated next to Mitchell's, the parking lot entrance is a little tucked away. Expect the same great menu as the other OPH locations. There are about 32 differently sized tables and a three bench waiting area. The building is large and spacious. At the time of writing this review, I believe they're finishing their first five week days open. The servers are still getting into their groove. Please give them grace. I noticed that my gluten free chocolate chip pancakes were a different price on the bill than on the menu. I informed the server and she was able to fix it but said that the problem was in the computer itself. Just check the bill. I ordered my bacon well done, and it said "extra crispy" on the bill. It was a little too done for me, but I preferred that to the floppy and fatty strips . Maybe just crispy would be better. My chocolate chip gluten free pancakes were tasty enough, though not as soft as I'm used to from the other locations. I get it, they're still learning. I'll be back and hope for the best next time!

I think what makes these locations so interesting compared to the old IHOP locations is the service. The food is down home, rock solid flavors that really hit home for breakfast. The pancakes here are great. If you're comparing them to IHOP the only downside is the butter is a bit off, but very similar. The trimmings are all better though. The service though is always a hit. Rarely do you find a chain that has constantly good wait staffs even during the rush and the two locations I've been to yet have been awesome. That will keep me coming back.

3.8 Newly opened in Avon. Food was delicious & that is the reason for the entire score. All 4 meals were really good! Kudos to the chef! Will be back because of you! Unfortunately, our waitress seemed more bothered than anything; no smiling, had to ask twice for more coffee. When I ordered the Dutch Baby, she said "You know that takes 20 minutes. Wish someone would write that on the menu." So I ordered something else. Decor seems unfinished & lacking. 4 people at a little square table is rough; not enough table space!

Receipt showing the pecan pancake should be in the bag.

Double check your order, I went there to get my wife a pecan pancake.... The girl was so proud she put the carry out bag together and everything was in it, even extra syrup. It was checked off on the receipt.... Only thing NOT in the bag was the pancake. Wtf. So frustrating.... I get up early to do something sweet for my wife.... TO HECK WITH YOU ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE!!!

First time here after many recommendations. Hard to find off Detroit Rd in Avon. Sits way back in a…read morevery narrow entrance to various shops/businesses. We passed it up once and nearly missed it a second time. It's a big renovated barn, and the first floor is not very special, with a few tables and a small bar. Thankfully we ate on the second floor which was gracious and spacious. The prices are white cloth but weirdly the tables are clothless. Almost like a white/cream butcher block surface. And the barn atmosphere apparently lulls some guests into thinking jeans and T's are appropriate. I didn't care for that and wish the restaurant had a nicer dress code. Anyway, the star here is steak, and it didn't disappoint. As the specials were being rattled off (expertly by Shane who was terrific for us) it became clear that I wasn't gonna get the cut I wanted, as they hovered between 90-120 bucks. I can't believe where beef is in America right now...shameful. We settled for "Jake's Steaks" which were economical 10 oz sirloins perfectly prepared and very satisfying. Sides were big enough to share. A lobster pasta had al dente penne but the crustacean was fishier than I had hoped. Zero complaint about the luscious, rich, cheesy scalloped potatoes. A complimentary birthday cake was a classy touch for us. With a credit card dent of nearly 200 bucks, I wanted it to be 5 stars, but it came up just a sliver short. Still an enjoyable special occasion night out.

The…read morerestaurant itself is beautiful, it's a restored old barn, which gives it such a warm and unique atmosphere. We were seated on the second floor at a more intimate table, which made the evening feel even more special. We were celebrating two birthdays, mine and my son's and it ended up being such a great night. This was our son's first time at this restaurant. To start, we ordered the Girl Power appetizer, which was a half pound of breaded scallops served with dipping sauces. It ended up being about five large scallops and they were excellent, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked. The pretzel bread brought to the table was also fantastic, served with regular butter and a whipped peanut butter butter that was surprisingly delicious. For drinks, I ordered the seasonal mule, a blood orange mule that was refreshing and perfectly balanced. My younger son was excited to see mocktails on the menu and ordered the Berry Mint Refresher, which he loved. For our entrées, my husband ordered one of the steak specials, the Beverly, cooked rate with mushrooms and garlic butter. Myself and two sons all ordered the Stripper, their New York strip steak. My younger son had his cooked rare with garlic butter, while my older son and I ordered ours medium rare with garlic butter. The steaks were cooked perfectly and incredibly flavorful. For sides, we shared the garlic mashed potatoes and the Gruyère mac & cheese, both of which were fantastic and complemented the steaks perfectly. Our server, Walter, was amazing from start to finish. He walked us through the menu, checked in with us several times, and made sure everything was perfect. His service really elevated the experience. Since we were celebrating two birthdays, we were surprised with a lovely small cake brought to the table so we could celebrate both occasions. It was such a thoughtful touch. Strip Steakhouse is truly top-notch and, in my opinion, one of the best steakhouses in the Cleveland area. It never disappoints, and we're already looking forward to our next special event to celebrate and visit.

But the place was larger than I expected and I was seated quickly. Once in the booth it wasn't long before my server showed. A bit of quick pleasantries and my order was in. The place reminded me of an 1960s restaurant. Very clean and family oriented. The vibe screams family and good friends meet here. I order the godfather omelet. It was packed with mushrooms, spinach, and sausage. It came with a side of potatoes and toast. I choose rye because the bite goes well with breakfast. When the omelette arrived it was much bigger than I would imagine. Most of the meals are shareable definitely enough food for two. I'm usually not an egg fan, but I definitely would order it again. Just need to bring a plus one. If you're in the area for the eclipse stop by for a great meal.

Lots of booths and tables for larger groups.
