A friend of ours had their back yard office built by them under their name "Original Mini Barns" several years back. The work was fantastic, and we hoped one day to have our shed done by them. Skip to 2021 and we hired them under their other name "Garden Solutions". They were booked solid for months, but when an opening came up, they slotted us in early. They referred us to a man to do our gravel pad, who came out on a previously scheduled personal vacation day to make sure our pad was prepped before the new early build. When snow delayed our build, they managed to only delay a few weeks, still ahead of the original schedule. When torrential rains rolled in on our first build day (literally record-breaking rains), the team worked tirelessly, soaked to the bone for hours. they followed through with the timeline, and came out an extra day (sunny this time!) to do a few touch ups and simple modifications we requested. Throughout, Tony was an excellent communicator. His on-site team were friendly and very hard working. The finished shed is solid as a house, looks fantastic, and we can honestly say we were happy with every step of the process. Thanks to all for the great shed! read more

I am so happy with our custom shed from The Original Mini Barn. Tony, co-owner, was super responsive, did a site visit to help us figure out what we could get, and showed up after the work was done to make sure we were happy. He even did some fine tuning that I would never expect like grinding off the exposed nails inside the shed. Matthew, Owen, and Bradley were the builders and got our project completed in one day in pretty heavy rain. They were all very professional and super respectful to me and my wife as well as our property. Their work ethic really showed with their ability to get our project completed in one day. Bradley came back the next day to do some caulking and touch ups and he was so responsive to my nit picking and asked for said critique to ensure I was happy before he left. The other co-owner, Aaron, stopped by as well to check on the project. read more

Garden Solutions did an excellent job throughout the process of putting up our shed. We didn't have very complex design requirements, but we were specific about what we wanted. GS consulted with us, looking over our yard and listening to what we planned to do and what we cared about, then helped us pick the best spot in our yard. They connected us to a landscaper to build a drained gravel pad and worked flexibly with us to schedule the installation. When installation began, GS was efficient, polite, patient, and very, very fast! The workers on site were also happy to answer questions and clarify the why of their decisions as well. We wound up with a gorgeous shed with more room than we'd pictured (the door in the picture is taller than you think) put together with little muss or fuss. If I absolutely had to find a nit to pick, there was a point where GS got a cancellation and might have been able to install earlier for us. We thought we'd said, "Yes, we'll take it!" but apparently hadn't been affirmative enough, so we missed the early slot. I'd have been happier if GS had pushed a little harder to say, "Hey--we need an actual signature *today* if you want the slot." But again, that's a tiny improvement that I'm sure they'll probably make for the future. Great product, excellent company! read more

Absolute class. Tony was fantastic to work with from start to finish, lined up subcontractors for me to do the concrete and electrical work, communicated clearly and promptly, and delivered on time. He was on top of the project throughout and proactive about letting me know what to expect. The team doing the work was respectful of the property and very thorough and attentive to details. We got exactly what we wanted and are really happy with the 8x12 garden shed they've built for us. read more

An incredibly positive experience from beginning to end. Tony worked with us to achieve the design we wanted and Aaron and his crew made the build a reality with great skill and craftmanship. The crew was professional and extremely hard working. The painting was meticulous. Aaron even referred us to a great mason who added brick work to our foundation. If you need a shed, office or outbuilding these guys do exceptional work for a very reasonable price. read more

I'm not one to post reviews, but right after this work was completed I promised myself that I would. WOW. I was not the ideal customer during this project. I struggle to make decisions (size windows, type door, color, orientation...) and designing a structure involves a lot of decisions. Tony and team were very patient, with kind touches like putting in one of each type of lightbulb to help me make a decision. Their subcontractors are also excellent, from the person who prepared the level ground to the electricians who returned to move our heater after our second thoughts, everyone we dealt with was delightful. I was nervous about how my desire to have the interior of the shed drywalled would work with their schedule, but I needn't have been. Tony communicated with us to coordinate timeframes. Another review said it best--absolute class. I love my new office shed! read more

I worked with Garden Solutions to design and build an office shed in my backyard. Tony and his team were great to work with - professional, punctual, honest, and knowledgeable. The quality of his work is top notch and their price is reasonable. Thank you so much! read more

We recently had them build a custom 16'x10' shed with power for me in my backyard. The initial consultation and design help was great. The actual building of the shed and placement onsite was perfectly executed. These folks build a solid, quality product and they deliver excellent service along the way. We couldn't be more happy with our new shed. Highly recommended if you need a garage alternative like us or just a small garden/tool storage read more

We are THRILLED with our 8x12 garden shed they built for us on a difficult, unfinished slope (at that time). After we had a concrete pad poured by another vendor, we had to wait about 2-3 months as Randy and Sharon had other work ahead of us, and there were a few minor delays, but we absolutely LOVE our shed (photos added to Yelp - ours is the little sunken cottage with the dormers). The inside looks as good as the outside! They took great pains to work with us on customizing the roof and other features, and everything was done at a price that seemed fair. These are wonderfully built sheds. read more

I am a repeat customer - just ordering my second free standing storage building from Garden Solutions. Randy and Sharon are an incredible team - so easy and wonderful to work with. Sharon works with you to customize each shed ordered with various options and layouts that suit your needs. The pricing is clear as you choose which features you want and each shed is custom built so you have total freedom regarding floor plan, doors and windows (size and placement), lofts, etc. My first shed (8' x 14') has been in service for a couple of years now - I had it fully insulated by Randy's crew and it has snugly provided warm and dry storage since then (using a only a small oil filled radiator.). And it looks like a doll house - so charming! I am now back to purchase a second building for another property based on the value and quality of my first one (this time a 12' x 16' Craftsman design.) The quality of these sheds cannot be beat - and they are an investment that will hold up (unlike the big box sheds that fall apart after several years.). Garden Solutions sheds are built just like tiny houses - with REAL materials and craftsmanship and they will last as long as your home (not just a few years like the particle board sheds). Keep that in mind as you shop and take a look at their onsite samples - they still look almost new, (despite that some were built 15 years ago.) I highly recommend this business: Superior customer service, quality build and beautifully customized design - providing a longterm value purchase. read more

Aka Garden Solutions. We ordered a custom 8 x 12 shed/cottage with a loft to use as a detached sun room and hang out space for our family. Sharon and Randy designed it to meet our needs exactly and we couldn't be happier with it! Now we can get away at home. :-) Great value for the money, very professional and wonderful to work with. read more

Wow... these guys are good. From simple sheds that make the ones at Home Depot look silly, to a custom job that looks just like your house, they have done it all and are simply the best in the market. Awesome, knowledgeable, friendly, staff. They sell customized sheds, cabins, storage buildings, espresso stands, etc. You can go from modern, rustic, or make your shed to your house. Very awesome business, and it was a pleasure doing business with them! read more

Great folks to work with! If you want quality work done properly by people who show pride in craftsmanship, Garden Solutions is a great choice. We needed to replace an old shed on an existing concrete pad. Tony helped me fine tune the specs. They fitted it to exact size of the pad (odd numbers, slightly less than 8 x 10) and made sure it was perfectly level, with wedge-shaped shims (treated wood) to fit what we had. You may have to wait on their calendar, but they will get it done as promised, as ordered and with the necessary small improvements that make a wood building last for many years. We matched paint colors and from a distance it looks like part of the house. Sure, you can get something cheaper from the big box stores, but you get what you pay for! if you want a quality custom-built product delivered with responsive friendly service, I doubt you'll find any better in the local market. read more

If you are looking for an outbuilding, you really don't need to look any further than Garden Solutions. From initial contact through final installation these folks are truly professionals. The superior level of customer service and exceptional quality of work that they provide are a rare find in today's seemingly "good enough" business model. I am very pleased with the shed I purchased from them and enjoyed working with them every step of the way. Exceptional people, exceptional product, very fair price. Hello, I have never written a review before but felt I had to on this one. We spent a healthy sum of money on a Studio. Promised a solid lasting building and received something that was built right on the ground and the main person said himself oh that wasn't right but did nothing to fix it. We also have discovered that the electrical work is shoddy and have to have it fixed. Don't recommend this company at all! read more
