So, I stood by fudge waiting for her she stood at opposite end of store , w an attitude, like I was almost bothering her I walked down to cash register w my items And when I ordered some fudge, she almost got mad I had to make her walk back towards fudge . Checked out... Whisoo . But price doesn't matter . . Customer service does . And this woman needs to be whipped in that mixing bowl I felt so uncomfortable. This Fudge Kitchen wasn't as large as the one in Cape May, but I really did enjoy the fudge I purchased. I bought a 1/2 lb for about $8. I chose Snickers, Rocky Road, Chocolate Chip, and Dark Chocolate Chunk. My tastebuds were pleasantly surprised by the Snickers flavor. I didn't think Rocky Road was anything to write home about. Chocolate Chip was amazing, but Dark Chocolate Chunk was the real winner. Love those chocolate chips! The service was good, and I was able to purchase a water bottle to quench my thirst. When I became aware of this gimmick, I ordered a pound, and the weight was under a pound. I said that's fine,I'll take it under. She said I can't. I am partial to the previous candy stores, but the reality is this is okay. The assortment of candy is numerous, which is nice. Macaroons and caramel marshmallows are much appreciated. It's certainly not the largest but they do make some darn good fudge and it's not terribly expensive. In the email, I received some long winded message about how it was made the day before and and how long it can keep fresh. I would like to start by saying this place is not bad, it's just not good. In Stone Harbor, and the entire Jersey Shore, there are SO many fudge shops. This one does not even compete with the others. The fudge is too sweet, it tastes like butter and sugar... in a bad way. Also their other candies are not very good. The saltwater taffy has no flavor.
