I originally planned on having all my groomsmen rent suits, but once I found this shop and realized it was actually cheaper to BUY full setups here than rent somewhere else, it became a total no brainer. The pricing is honestly insane for what you get. For under $200 out the door, we got the suit, shirt, tie, belt and shoes. They also have pretty much every color you can think of which made it super easy to coordinate everything for the wedding. What really stood out was how helpful they were throughout the whole process. They kept track of all the pieces for each groomsman so when everyone came in, everything was already matched and organized. That made things way less stressful on my end. A couple things to know going in: they don't have an in house tailor and the pants come unhemmed, but they have a bunch of tailoring recommendations and it honestly wasn't a big deal considering the price. After the wedding, I ended up going back and buying 3 more suits because the value is just that good. As long as I live in LA, I'll keep coming back here.

I hadn't heard of the shop before visiting, and we went because there was a sale. They apparently had some water damage in January and just had opened back up... and wanted to release some of the damaged and unfinished clothes for discounted prices. First I need to mention that the management and owner were standing outside and greeting everyone, chatting with them. I heard the full story of how this place came about, and the struggles they went through during covid and the rain. Just a great group of people running the shop and you really root for them to succeed. I bought two t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a hat. It has become my favorite pieces of clothing. The shirts are comfortable but thick material, and don't hug you in an unflattering way. They fit so well. I will definitely come back once they have a new round of inventory to check out their stuff.

You just lost a loyal repeat customer of well over a decade. I've recommended Brave Star to…read morenumerous people and publicly praised the company on social media. I'm now going back and deleting every word of that praise. Brave Star charges an additional $20-$25 to hem its jeans. Do not use this service. Despite providing exact measurements, I was handed an expensive pair of jeans hemmed several inches too long. I returned them so the mistake could be corrected, came back to pick them up again, and discovered they had done absolutely nothing. No correction, no meaningful explanation, and no apparent concern that they had wasted my time twice and left me with jeans I still couldn't wear. A company that sells premium denim should be capable of performing a basic hem correctly. At the very least, it should take responsibility when the work is clearly wrong. Brave Star did neither. After more than ten years of loyalty and referrals, I was treated as though my business and the quality of their own work were completely irrelevant. I hope Mik and Maria Serfontaine are proud of the standards their company now represents. I certainly wouldn't trust Brave Star with another purchase, and I would strongly advise anyone buying their jeans to take them somewhere competent for alterations.

I loved my experience here!…read more I've always wanted to work with a stylist, but never knew how to go about finding one. Since having my baby I haven't been able to shop for myself and got fed up with wearing my maternity clothes. Somehow I found Trunk Club and thank goodness I did! After receiving my first box I decided to schedule an appointment with my stylist Alexandra. She was wonderful and pulled about 15 pieces for me to try. Some were a hit, some were a miss, but Alexandra took notes on what looked good on me for future reference. The location itself is beautiful. It's large with lots of natural light coming in from sky lights. There's a bar serving complementary beer, wine, water bottles, and coffee. Alexandra offered me a cold brew to drink which I gladly accepted. Also impressive was After visiting Trunk Club, I'm not sure why I wouldn't return every time I need a few new items in my wardrobe.

I'm not a big clothes shopper but I always look forward to my trips here (and always end up spending more than I plan) By appointment only (but super easy to make one) Trunk Club makes it so easy to shop for good looking clothes from a range of labels. They do tend to be more on the upper end (their acquisition by Nordstrom is indicative of this) so be prepared for the corresponding pricing. That being said working with a stylist and their range really helps with putting together ensembles that actually work and that involved multiple interchangeable elements. Trunk Club also has their own custom shirts and suits that are tailored for each customer. I've ordered both and love them. Their dress shirts are now my first choice both in terms of look and feel.
