The One Buffet Texarkana Tx

Well i give it 5-Stars, because it is as good as it gets for Texarkana tx. If you live here or are in town for business, stop by and check it out, one of the best Chinese Buffets I've been to in a long time, friendly service and a great selection of food, again stop by and give it your own review on "YELP"

For a small town restaurant, it's pretty good. Lots of options of cooked and raw. My husband and I were passing by on our way to Arkansas and after seeing all the raving reviews we decided to check it out. Price - surprisingly cheap for what they offer (crab legs, raw oysters, sushi) and the variety Raws - all their rolls is a surplus of imitation crab and rice. Did not look appealing at all. My husband tried the sushi and said it was mediocre. He also braved the raw oysters. There's quite a bit there and looked fresh. Cooked - I tried the general tso's chicken and orange chicken and it's like biting into a rock. Dry, not crunchy at all and they both tasted the same. There is actually quite a bit of veggie options and it all tasted very good. They had a variety of fried food too that was good. Dumplings was quite tasty especially with the soy sauce provided. Their stir-fry noodles was good too. Overall, I'd give a four stars if it wasn't that it made me run for the bathroom almost immediately afterwards. And that's eating strictly cooked food! I'd go again if I pass by as it was quite tasty for a good price and only one bathroom trip (vs multiple).

I thought this was funny.

Lee's China in Texarkana sits at a steady three stars on Yelp -- not a warning, not a promise…read more Just... there. My plan was simple: order something bulletproof. Egg drop soup and pork-and-shrimp spring rolls. Low risk. Except when I ordered the spring rolls, I was told they're actually chicken. Not pork. Not shrimp. Chicken. Plot twist. I declined. I'd tried calling ahead -- the phone rang endlessly -- so I ordered in person. I patiently sat near the dining room. It's clear this is a largely take out (Grubhub business). Mr. Lee was nowhere to be seen. I'm guessing he moved away decades ago. The people working there now looked like would easily work at a Taqueria. The soup appeared almost immediately, clearly prepped and waiting for its moment. I asked for crispy noodles. "No, that's all you get." Now, the soup. This was not a delicate, silky egg flower broth. This was Campbell's Hearty Chicken Noodle... minus the noodles. Bamboo shoots. Water chestnuts. Peas. Big chunks of chicken. And celery -- which feels like a bold editorial choice in egg drop soup. Price: $8. Ambitious for what I assumed would be a side. Instead, I got a full entrée disguised as a classic. Was it bad? No. Was it egg drop soup? That's debatable. I didn't try anything else out of fear but three stars feels right. If you enjoy culinary reinterpretations, this might be your spot. If you're looking for textbook egg drop soup with quiet restraint and crispy noodles, expect creative liberties.

When I was growing up, my parents would take my brother and I to Benihana's in Dallas. (Benihana's…read morewas a big deal in the 90's .) So, I was so excited when I found out Osakas was opening in Texarkana decades later. My daughter loves Osaka's kid fried rice with steak, sushi , yummmm yummmmm sauce, edamame, but most of all, she loves the entertainment! It's fun to see her interact with the chef, just like I did back in the 90's -- haha. But seriously, it really opened her taste buds and now she wants to go every week - she's 7! I recently took her and one of her BFF's after school. They stole all my change because the coin pond kept them busy before the chef was ready . The chefs are hilarious and the service is always fantastic. And most of all, not only is it tasty, it's a super clean restaurant (restrooms included)! It's a fun place to take the kiddos , have a fun date night, or night with your girlfriends! Highly recommend!

I felt like something was off with my taste buds so I asked for teriyaki sauce, the chef poured up a bowl for AND I COULD SEE THROUGH IT! It was sugar water with no flavor. It's the whitest Japanese food you can get. I get it, the whole family covered thier food in "yum yum" sauce so they didn't notice the lack of flavor. For me this is a hard, no. Its like going out for Mexican and going to taco bell. Plus.. They add 16% to the check for the chef then you have to tip. So on top of a 20-30$ meal you're adding about 30% for the workers. Nope No Not going back.
