Yes, it is a Bar and Grill but they also have a sizable outdoor patio area, a large area with pool…read moretables, darts and arcade games. There is also an entire section dedicated to live performances. I visited for the Pop Evil concert and was floored by all of the talent they had lined up before the main event. The drinks are good and the service we received from Kelly (loved her Mohawk) was spot on. They seem to maintain a great line up of live music from the area as well as bands from out state and country. The performance venue is standing room only with a few exceptions near the bar. It feels intimate but it is big enough that you do not feel crowded. The reason I am giving them 4 and not 5 stars is for making us wait in 0 degree weather with a hella cold wind cutting at us as they had to process everyone in. It was very inconsiderate to keep people standing in the elements while one or two guys checked Id's and tickets. Maybe this seems like no big deal but seriously it was f*&^$ing cold out people! My buck 25 ass is not use to it and I dare say even the locals had a difficult time handling the wait and check in process. The place also looked a tad tired and dare I say dingy. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable eating here. That being said I did NOT see their kitchen so this can be an over reach on my part but generally speaking if things are not well maintained up front they are not well maintained in the back. The bartenders and concert line up is the reason I believe most people come here and is why I will be back next time I am in the area. Until then, Rock on with your bad self!

However, if with the clique style douche metal they play there, the biggest threat is the head of security [Hispanic, late 40's, heavy set, short black hair] that is always impersonating a cop. My friend was allowed to leave with two highly intoxicated people while the supposed impersonator cop that was head of security told me to shove off or he'd have me arrested. Right after I asked to see this guy's bad, asked for his name and badge number he only said 242 [Gee, give the name of a band right don't you]. The head of security left in a late model orange colored pickup truck. moments later after he left, actual police arrived claiming that I had a gun in the night club. The entire building was closed at the time when the actual police arrived. The one of the DJ's happened to be standing outside next to when the police arrived and vouched for me. What a total joke of an encounter. Do not go here. You couldn't pay me money to even perform at this place as DJ or music project. Oh, and after talking with both Toledo police and the police in my own neighborhood, it turned out the head of security mentioned in this review is not a cop. This head of security should be careful of the person who is sober and is not afraid of some wanna-be.

This was my first time at this venue, I came here to see Lindsey Stirling tonight…read more First off, fantastic concert by Lindsey, but that's unsurprising... I think this is the 5th or 6th time I've seen her and actually the second time in Ohio (I live in the Detroit area), in 2019 I saw her at the Stranahan as well. To be fair we showed up around 8:15 p.m. for an 8:00 concert. I had been wanting to show up around 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. when the doors opened but we both work till 5:00 p.m. and the venue is about an hour and 15 minutes away, so by the time we had a quick dinner and got there with some breaks it was about 8:00. I had read all of the do's and don'ts of the venue so I knew that we could bring camp chairs for our general admission seats but could not bring the chair covers. Apparently they do have parking here and it's $10 but it was sold out. I saw something online about how parking might be for a fee but nowhere anywhere else did the venue mention it, so I do think they could improve on that. The parking was sold out so they also need to work on that. We ended up parking for $10 right across the street and I can't really complain because it was like a 5-minute walk, but we were lucky to even get in there. Again, I know we showed up late, but the venue itself should have more parking. There weren't a ton of places to sit - If you buy an actual seat they have benches that you sit on which I knew ahead of time, and I bought general admission just in case the concert got rained out. Lots of people were sitting in camp chairs but there were also a lot of people just standing, and it was hard to find somewhere to sit behind another group of sitting people, rather than the standing people. I ended up getting lucky and found a spot for maybe 1.5 chairs closer to the stage/reserved seating area, and that's where we sat for the concert. I feel like it's kind of an unwritten rule that if you're located in a group of camp chairs or on the benches that you should just sit, not stand; unfortunately a few people stood for the majority of the concert and even my 6'4" boyfriend was having trouble seeing. Overall I would come back here for a venue but I might buy reserved seats even though the benches did not look that comfortable. It was nice to have my own camp chair and I would definitely show up earlier next time but the parking situation was not great. One positive thing I will say is that you basically enter the venue right from the parking lot which is different than a lot of Detroit area places, with venues like Pine Knob and Meadowbrook you usually have quite a hike up and down hilly areas before you get to your seat.
