There so many positives about this place, let me start by saying it's great. They make a good espresso and serve it in a proper ceramic espresso cup and saucer. That's really important to both me and the character played by Sylvester Stallone in "Tulsa." The espresso is less than half the price than Starbucks, and it's better. They have an excellent biscuits and gravy that they serve until early afternoon. They serve "Italian soda" and since they have NO diet drinks I had to have the diabetes inducing watermelon flavor. Get a large, and if you ask them to hold the nonrecyclable plastic straw, they will. They make a delicious cherry tart, and of course they have delicious chocolates. The shortening was not mixed in very well and I got small bits of it in almost every bite. No peanuts at all. I prefer chopped peanuts in my cookie. The peanut butter flavor was overpowered by the shortening bits. The Pink Sugar was just a shortbread cookie with no sugar topping. The pink frosting was a weird flavor that was not stated anywhere. Again the cookie had small bits of shortening. I don't want to eat shortening by itself. I had to throw most of both of them away. These people don't know how to mix their batter and so the cookies are not very tasty. I tried them once but I won't be back.

I love this place! It's like a little slice of heaven and a great place to walk around and just…read moretake in the slow pace of a bygone time. From the maze and hay rides to the petting zoo, there's a ton of stuff to keep the kids happy. And for the adults, there's *FOOD* - so much and so good! From apple muffins to apple pie and cider, all of it is delicious. The staff is friendly and motivated, what a great change from most places. Go and spend a morning there and take home some wonderful apple desserts, you'll be glad that you did!

Most of what they do is wholesale for local stores but they do have a small retail store attached to their bakery. Along with donuts, and a few pastries, they sell a variety candies. This not necessarily a place to avoid, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get their donuts as you can get they same type and quality at any grocery store in town. One the up side they have cake donuts on sale every Thursday which makes them quite a bargain for grabbing a couple of dozen for your co-workers.
