The staff was welcoming and gave great suggestions on local beers. Good place to grab a drink if you are visiting New London.

Why does everybody pack into that narrow section? There's a wide open room, I don't get it.

The place is very big, so if you are going with a group or family they have the space. There is a small awkward parking lot in the back, so mostly street parking. Arrived (party of 4) just after 5pm, took a few minutes to be sat, even though the place was empty. One bartender and one waitress. Received two menus and were told to scan the QR code on the table, seemed odd. It took a while to give our order, so we ordered everything at once. Wings, truffle fries to start. Scallop Risotto, Fish& chips, fried shrimp basket and caesar salad with chicken. Drinks arrived minus one because they were out of the whiskey, provided a replacement, but the drink never came to the table. Food was ok. The fried things were very tasty and well made. The wings were nice, tender and good sauce/flavor. Truffle fires were good, little heavy on the truffle oil, but tasty Scallops were prepared well but the "risotto" was more like rice pilaf. The caesar salad was nicely dressed, the added chicken was grill to as close to raw and still be "cooked". It was very soft and chewy - that was pushed to the side. If you go, stick to the bar, brunch, apps, or something fired. I think this place is good if you go when they are fully staffed or something. I would happy choose someplace else if I were in town for a show.

This is a small eatery (I counted max 39 seats between tables and the bar) with difficult parking…read more I was able to get a spot right in front b because I went to lunch, but the parking lot has signs saying it is for employees of the wood shop next door, and no trespassing in the lot across the street, so I think street parking is the only option? Service is great, very attentive and friendly. The food is what earns this three stars. I tried a stuffie, German onion soup, a Farmhouse burger, and a key lime Mason jar. The stuffie was a little small, and most of the flavor was imparted by the ham and the squeeze of lemon. The German onion soup, I'm not sure why it was German except to not be French? Outside the name difference, the onions were way too large, and there was a total lack of flavor going on in the soup. The crock was very large too. The burger and fries looked pretty good, and I enjoyed the flavors here. The fries were rough hewn, so there was good crispness from all the edges. The toppings of the burger, and the bun, were also hearty. Unfortunately, my medium rare burger was more like raw meat with surface browning. I'm a big fan of rare steak, but ground beef needs a little more cooking. Also, the house made ketchup is really more of a marinara sauce. If I'd ended up eating more of my plate before they took it away to re-fire the burger, I would have asked to replace the ketchup. The key lime Mason jar was e everything you want to wrap up a meal. Great flavor, lightness, citrus. I did have to bring most of it home but, unlike the burger they brought back in a box, I'm excited to get back into the key lime. From an accessibility stand point, there is no ramp to get in nor handicap parking, so the evidently don't want your business. Once you're in, there are some seats you could get in, but if this place were full it would be difficult to navigate for anyone. The bathroom is a single room, but very spacious and nice. So, mixed bag for access. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not racing to return.

My husband and I got the honey pepperoni pizza, and it was very delicious and huge pretty spicy too! We were able to take some home! My brother got a pulled pork burger, and he really liked it with his fries. Pretty sure he also got loaded fries. He enjoyed it so much he didn't leave not one crumb on his plate, lol. My cousin also got a hamburger and fries, and she thought it was delicious! They also got beers, and everything was pretty good and fairly priced. When I'm around this area, I'm definitely going to come back to this location due to the food itself. Location: This location is huge, and it had inside and outside seating with lots of tables! It's pretty casual, more so a sports bar-type of setting. Pretty nice to bring family and friends to grab a bite or even go on a casual date. They also had private parking, which makes things a lot easier! Service: Service was great. Our waiter was super nice, brought everything in a timely manner, and asked if we needed anything, very attentive. I'm usually not around this area, but when I am, I'm definitely going to stop by to grab a bite here!

I got a small house salad with grilled Mahi Mahi on top (no salt added). My husband got the soba noodles and a side caesar salad. Mine was good and perfectly made, I devoured my entire Mahi salad. My husband's noodle dish was very salty...something to keep in mind...the good thing was that the noodles were soba, so they were mostly buckwheat flour, which is better for you. Overall a nice relaxing dinner and our server was very good, and prompt.

"We invite you to have a taste of Germany, no passport required"-Munich Haus…read more A truly authentic German restaurant with loads of events at the restaurant, banquet hall, & outdoor biergarten featuring live music. Big place that takes up a entire corner in downtown Chicopee, MA. Three parking lots behind the restaurant. Offering lunch & dinner Sun-Thu 11:30am-9pm, Fri & Sat 11:30am-10pm. We visited here on Saturday evening April 18. 2026. This place was highly recommended by our friends from the German-american Club of Albany (NY). Half our party had been here many previous times & for the other half, it was our first time. This day they were hosting their annual wild game feast in the banquet hall. 50+ people attended this event. Munich Haus has 20 or so special events per year. Our party of six was here for dinner. Our server was the spunky Maria who made this a memorable dinner. We were here for their famous schnitzels. A hearty meal excellently prepared and served eight ways. Comes with soup or salad and choice of two sides (i.e. spaetzle, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, red cabbage, or chef's vegetable). Also you can get a schnitzel sampler of 3 varieties. WOW! Also offered are sauerbraten, rouladen, chicken Reisling, braised lamb shanks, a variety of wursts (sausages) and delicious dessets. It's simply WUNDERBAR! Many thanks again to Maria & the rest of the Munich Haus staff for a tasty & memorable dinner road trip "for a taste of Germany, no passport required."
