My dog woke up with an irritated eye, a concerned dog mom that I was I called every dog clinic possible and everyone was booked. I called the oaks veterinary clinic and spoke to the sweetest woman. She told me they were also booked but after talking to the doctor about my pup, she told me I could do a drop off visit where I drop her off and they see her in between visits. I dropped her off and within fifteen minutes she ready! I spoke to the doctor who examined her and thanked her for being able to see my dog in such short notice. I am so thankful for them.

My sis recommended this vet hospital, as they performed surgery on her 10-year-old pittie, and she was beyond pleased with the care. Tex visited this hospital just a handful of times in his final year. He mostly saw Dr. Alyssa Rahaim, and I really liked her bedside manner with us, her advice, and how easy she was to reach by email or phone (especially in his final days when I wasn't sure if it was time to put him down. She called me while she was on vacation.). Additional pros: The facility has a very friendly staff, short wait times, onsite pharmacy... I think they also do boarding and grooming (in a separate building up front). Two things I wish for: :: If they did house calls/mobile visits, because it was very difficult to get my 14-year-old lab out of the house, into a car, and into the vet every six months for his labs. :: Or, if they could reserve some front parking or the loading zone with a sign that specifies it's for loading/unloading elderly dogs or disabled dogs, and of course for emergencies (which I assume that's what it's mainly used for), but I've witnessed that loading zone fill up with people too lazy to park in the lot and walk inside. But to end this review on an uplifting note, when Tex did pass (I used a mobile service from a different provider), Cypress Fairhaven Animal Hospital sent me the loveliest sympathy card that was hand signed - with sweet messages - from their entire staff. Tex was only a patient there for a short while, yet they treated him as though he was a lifelong patient.

They've been so kind, so compassionate, and it's clear they really put Layla's health first every step of the way. They didn't just confirm her diagnosis quickly; they did it with such a caring attitude, sparing us all the extra hassle and cost. And when Layla had some eye issues later on, they went above and beyond to help us out. They even helped us figure out the best financial options without ever making us feel like it was just about the money. Honestly, they treat Layla like she's their own, and that kind of genuine care means the world to us. If you're looking for a vet that truly puts your pet first, this is absolutely the place.

One of our Dobermans had an extremely painful immune-mediated disease where his toenails would just randomly split, crack and fall off for no reason. Dr. Morales tirelessly researched his issue until she found the perfect combination of medications and vitamin supplements to treat and heal his condition. Another one of our Dobermans lived a very happy, healthy life for ten ADDITIONAL years after being diagnosed with diabetes ONLY because of Dr. Morales' expertise and incredible dedication to monitoring her health, bloodwork and medications! I rushed him to the ER, and thankfully there weren't many patients ahead of us; we were seen within about 20 minutes. The facility was clean, calm, and welcoming, which really helped ease my nerves. The staff was incredibly friendly, and you could truly tell they cared by the thoughtful questions they asked and their gentle, compassionate demeanor with my pup. He needed X-rays, and while the results took a bit longer, the process was thorough and reassuring. Overall, we were there for about two hours, and the best news of all: my pup is perfectly okay and didn't swallow any foil. They even called me the next day to check in on him. Not something I expected, but that extra touch really shows their genuine care for the animals they serve. If you ever find yourself in a scary situation with your furry loved one, I would absolutely recommend this pet ER. Caring, professional, and worth every minute for peace of mind.

I eventually left and went to a different ER vet where my pet was helped within an hour. I understand that my pet's condition may not have been considered as critical as others, but the communication and wait time were unacceptable. Like another review mentioned, "A pet could've died." Safe to say I will never be bringing my pet here again.
