Very disappointed in this clinic. I called on Saturday to get my dogs prescription refilled; one he has to have to survive. I was told he would need to see the doctor first and this "should" have been told to me. I was told I would get a call back that same day and did not. Two days later I call back and get told I need to talk to the doctor. He informs me that because I had canceled previous appointments a couple of years ago and because I took one of my dogs to another vet he could no longer do business with me. When asked what I should do about my dog, he just tells me I'm sure there's another vet you can see. YOUR RIGHT!!! Found one just down the road with way better rates and a much friendlier crew!! Thank you for doing me a favor!!! And when looking at other reviews it seems this is not the first time, they have treated a long-time customer this way!! read more

I've been going to Rosehill Veterinary for about two years ago, since I got my Chocolate Labrador. They came highly recommended to me from a friend of my breeder. Specifically I was told that Dr. Bass has incredible bedside manner and that it was a local welcoming establishment. I've seen all the vets on staff and they are all very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. Stetsons main vet is Dr. Bass, and they were right, he is exceptional. That said, Stetson likes to see any of the Vets on staff and I've had a wonderful experience with them all. We are more than pleased with the knowledge, kindness, and willingness to do whatever it takes to see our dogs healthy and happy at Rosehill Veterinary Clinic. All three vets have proven themselves to us over the years. I know from experience that having a sick pet can be stressful and I hate to hear people taking it out on the staff here. If anyone is looking for an amazing vet clinic, Rosehill Vet is the best! My Goldendoodle puppy, Ford, got himself in a bit of a pickle by eating a pair of socks, and was hanging on by a thread. The entire team at Rosehill pulled together and saved his life. They communicated with me every step of the way, I never had to wonder how he was doing. Good vet. very thorough. Easy to get an appointment. Everyone has bad days so I have had less then perfect experiences here but never having to do with the care my animals were given. The people here genuinely like animals and it's not so much about making money as it is ensuring the best outcome. When you can't afford something they come up with the best action in your budget. I don't know if this regime has changed but I want to re-post my experience from about 7 years ago.. yes, but relevant still. The office staff is extremely rude, like I'm doing them a favor but worst yet is the fact they left my GSP in a cage for 2 weeks for shots etc... as I was going out of town for work. They left Him IN THE CAGE THE WHOLE TIME and let him starve because "well he won't eat". What? Did not call me, nothing and when I would check on Him "oh He's doing great!" When I picked Him up he was skin and bones. "well he barks a lot! " Um, yes, He is a GSP!!!! you should know your breeds, he's bored and hungry! The Dr. ( old guy, not sure he's still in charge) was so non chalant saying I left him there over his time; well, not true, I sent my Mother to check on Him and they said "oh he's great!!!, He's fine! here's current payment due! ". Which she paid. Lies. Then, to boot, one day I picked up a stray at the corner store that had a Rosehill vet rabies tag and was obviously lost. I took her in and they looked at her and said "well, what do you want us to do with it". I went wow. FIND THE OWNER STUPID! YOU ISSUED THE TAG!!! I hear through the grapevine of Horse owners they refuse to use this place.... I would not recommend this place. I am not a new dog owner; I have 5 currently, have always had at least 2, some pure some not and I also rescue pups for a non profit so I know dogs better than these folks. Please don't use them. :(( read more

I recently moved to the area. I was referred to this clinic by a friend of my son. I think the vets are probably knowledgable; however, I found the clinic staff to be cold, the office chaotic. A very small area designated for patient care and not private. Overall a bad experience. Seem to care more about money than anything else. My clinic for MANY years. First met Dr Saathoff when we were both young- he practiced then in Cypress with Dr John Hill. When I learned he was here in Tomball, I was pleased. Drs. Bass and Martindale are great, caring professionals. Their team is always kind and thoughtful. My 17 yr old rescue schnauzer mix has spent so much time there due to a blood disease. Not only did they manage to stabilize, we got 3 gift years. I always feel heard and they respect my wishes about the care of my furry friends. I have a motley crew of three rescue dogs and all view a visit as fun, never fearful. Simply cannot recommend this practice more highly. Prices are fair and competitive, care is too notch. Friendly, kind folks. Probably going to lose my 17 yr old soon and Michelle was very kind to answer my questions by phone. Eases my mind to know what will happen if I do choose euthanasia. Absolutely gobsmacked to see any negative reviews. These folks are busy, but never rude. Not my experience at all. read more
