They always review all of our options with us and they treat our animals like they are their own. They have also euthanized a few of our sweet babies and handled it with such love, care and kindness. I have never had such a calming and peaceful feeling about bringing my animals anywhere until I came here. I trust them 100% with all of our 28 barn cats, 5 indoor cats and 7 dogs. Two vets missed a heart murmur in my dog…read more After prescribing cough medicine for a very serious cough, it did nothing for my dog, they then needed me to do a chest x-ray on him. I had the x rays done after his symptoms progressed (episodes of passing out and loss of bodily control) and they were still confident it was lungs, though I had mentioned a previous potential heart murmur diagnosis from a year ago. X-ray shows enlarged heart and now they need an echocardiogram to be CERTAIN it's heart disease. While deciding to move forward with this vet and give them more money or find a second opinion, (a week and a half?) my dog went downhill quickly on a weekend. The emergency vet immediately heard a murmur and could say after an x ray, with 90% confidence that he had heart disease. He passed away 4/13/25. I am to blame for putting things off while trying to navigate money and these decisions with this vet who I was questioning after going back and forth with for a span of 2-3 months. I still don't understand how TWO vets miss a severe heart murmur. Fine enough vet for vaccines and what not, but if somethings going on with your animal, maybe find somewhere else. Hank was the best boy and lived a full and long life. RIP

Do not go here, do not bring your cat here if it is anything beyond something simple. The vet and…read morereceptionist guy are HORRIBLE. Our cat had developed a swollen cheek, and we took her there to get it checked. We thought it was an abscess due to gum issues. We kept bringing her back because despite the antibiotics given, it was not going down. The last time we took her in, they told us "this is just her face" and that "we care about our cat too much." Seriously, that doesn't make any sense. How is that just her face. Her normal cheek looks completely different. Also, last time I checked, isn't this a vet clinic... where people bring their pets because they care about them? The vet told us she did x-rays and didn't think it was a tumor. The receptionist guy claimed there was puss in her mouth over the phone (making us think it was just infection). When we picked her up on her last visit, the vet picked her up by her scruff 2 times, holding her practically above her head, to show me it didn't hurt her? Definitely inappropriate and unnecessary. I think she enjoyed the shock on my face honestly. Then, she started rubbing her hands all over my cat's face, asking me if it looked like it hurt her! Keep in mind, my cat is the sweetest scaredy cat ever, and has never fought back, scratched, or bit a person ever. This was also a completely inappropriate thing to do. There are other complaints I could list, but I want to stay on the most obscene. We took our cat to two other vets for their opinions because after that last visit, we knew we couldn't rely on pet check up for proper animal care. One vet at a VCA clinic said they would reach out to this location for x-rays, and they never got a response. The last vet we went to gave us a free x-ray. I cannot stress this enough, that x-ray most definitely looked like cancer. The point of that last paragraph is to show that I truly don't think this location did x-rays on my cat, because it was obviously abnormal and distorting her bone. Plus they never replied to the other vet with x-ray records. It's absolutely abhorrent to me that the people here were to be so rude and inappropriate to my family and my cat, especially considering she actually has cancer. It was never "just her face," and we were right to care about her "too much." Please anyone who is reading this or glancing over this, they do not care about your pet like you want them to. Or at the very least, they don't care about providing proper service that they are being paid to give.

So I would like to preface this by saying that my yelp account is over 8 years old, and I have…read morenever bothered to post a review, good, bad or otherwise! I have Bravecto (flea and tick 12-week chews) on my auto-ship order for both my dogs at Chewy.com (which adds up to a yearly savings of about $50 over ordering from TCV's (the corner vet's) auto-ship. (You can look this up and confirm for yourself, and I hope you do), along with food for both dogs so that I don't have to carry 80lbs of dog food each month from my car to my house. Additionally, I don't have to remember to order my pet meds! That said, I got an email (attached) on 4/29/22, a Saturday, saying that Chewy.com had not received a reply from the vet and that I should contact them to prevent my order from being canceled. So, I called in to ask for my approval to be sent in to Chewy.com. I was told, RUDELY, mind you AND only after being placed on hold for several minutes that she "only does this once a week, so it should be done by end of day" (EOD was the day I called) and I shouldn't worry...So, I didn't, and I chocked her lack in 'pleasantness' up to having a bad day or being busy, etc.. On May 3rd, 2022 - the day I posted my review, I had already been talking to chewy.com because the order for my dog had been paid for, but cancelled (see attached) due to the vet not responding to their prescription request. So, I placed a new order because my baby needed his meds, regardless of clerical issues, by 5/7/22. When I called TCV, I immediately got placed on hold AGAIN. When I started to explain that I had called on Saturday and for some reason chewy.com had canceled my order despite TCV approving prescriptions the same day I got the cancelation email. Lauren cut me off and got defensive. At this point I asked her if we could please start over, and suggested that maybe we started off on the wrong foot. I told her that I was not upset with her, and I don't recall having a tone, but perhaps I did because of having been on the phone with chewy.com. I was taken aback by how she was addressing me as I even tried to be empathetic and take some blame in the conversational angst I was sensing. She backed off in her attack for a moment, but VERY shortly after began her combative nature yet again. In this moment is when I decided that I would never be going back to TCV, I asked her to please just send me a 'paper copy' of my dog's prescription and to use my PetDesk points to pay for it and to email it to me (see attached). That meant that I would no longer have to WAIT ONE WEEK for auto-ship orders to get prescriptions approved. (Please keep in mind that TCV's auto-ship is more expensive than Chewy.com's auto-ship base cost for the medicine by almost $5 and this was for ONE of my dogs) Also, I lose the free shipping for ordering multiple items from the Chewy.com site. I NEVER received the 'paper' prescription! It never came. Instead, I logged into the PetDesk application 3 days later to see that she had, instead of complying with my request for an email (please see attachment of email inbox search for "Corner Vet" and notice that NO EMAILS WERE SENT WITH THE PRESCRIPTION THAT I PAID $10 FOR), I received an expired prescription that had lasted 1 day in the PetDesk app.... God, please help me to be kind). PETTY MUCH, LAUREN?! Was I supposed to watch this moment-by-moment? I'm sorry, perhaps this WAS my fault? But, in the event that it was... does an app constitute as 'paper' when I SPECIFICALLY asked for an email? AITAH???? I would at this point like to apologize to you, reader, for my verboseness. (TLDR - I got f'd outta $10 for a script for my dog, and the lady at the front was rude and didn't like doing her job more than once a week). AND, I would like for you to look at reviews that I snapped from TCV Yelp users 1-5. I mean... even if they aren't the same person, if you gaf that your reviews make you look bad, then you HIRE SOMEONE KIND instead of protecting an a-hole like Lauren at the front desk. #IJS ALL OF THIS CULMINATES IN THE LETTER THAT I 'SUPPOSEDLY (who knows if Lauren actually sent it or not?) RECIEVED FROM THE ACTUAL VETERNARIAN FROM THIS TRAIN-WRECK-OF-A-PLACE' (SEE ATTATCHED). Despite the fact that I was NEVER COMING back, they broke up with me :D ****NOTE: If you read nothing else in my testimony, please read the dumb letter they sent me with my pet vacc records attached.**** Yours Truly, Dissatisfied Pup-mom, Lauren Armstrong

My first review was under a LOT of distress and made a ton of errors so I am here to clarify what I…read morewas saying. Let's start with the fact I use to use this vet for over 15 years with Dr Sarter. Best vet I've had! Hands down. He sold this practice and they lost all hope. When I came in with my 6 yr old Shepard, my service dog, she was deathly ill and could barely walk. Confused and willing to do anything, we did x rays. Paid extra $100 for rush review from radiologist. (Scam) I hadn't eaten so I took dog and ran down the street for food. But right before the vet came in to inform me that my dog was 'consumed with cancer'. No chance of survival. Devastated, I went and called family and when I came back, she came back with the radiologist report that 'nope. No cancer'. WHAT?!! Just WHAT?! One minute she said one thing and poof it's gone. She then told me that she had disk issues and offered shot that blocks brain from feeling pain to help her walk. Next month injection free. Paid for that. I asked her to look in dogs nose to see if obstruction. She refused and I paid and left. More confused than before. After I left, I called back and got front desk when I asked her why she wouldn't look in dogs nose. She told me she saw doctor look. (Lies). I asked her to check with doctor because no. She didn't. Doctor hit on phone and confirmed no she didn't. (I paid for it though) they then deemed me to not come back because my questioning this and then refused to give my dog the second/included/paid for shot. I was lied to by staff, told my dog had and didn't have cancer and refusal to give treatment paid for. Your choice to pay money here. God help u. But notice how old most reviews are that are good and why score higher. It's the old owner time frame and person. Dr sarter. Shame on these people

Told me to go to a dog dermatologist or just let it burst on its own. I went back to my prior vet. I used to use them, but they are in the Woodlands and wanted someone closer. They told me draining them does not work. They put her on some meds to see if they can calm her head shaking down which may help the swelling go down. If not they will have to do proper laser surgery. I do not believe Champion Forest vet knows a lot nor has the best equipment. Almost $3,000 into this and my dog is still not better. I was told the vet would be in the office in about an hour, it was 7:30 am when I called. The receptionist stated that she would ask and let me know at that time what the best course of action would be. Fast forward, I receive a phone call at 4:45pm from the office with instructions. I had honestly, forgotten that I had called the office as it had been such a long period between the time of the calls while my day was extremely busy. I am happy that my pet didn't need specialized care as they totally dropped the ball on that situation. In addition, both of our dogs were taken here for a physical exam a two months ago. The exam was unremarkable. Today, I realized I need a written prescription for their monthly heart worm medications mailed to the online pharmacy service used. I called and asked for a prescription and was told that I will be charged $10 for each prescription due to "the time it takes the vet to write the prescription." Absolutely, disgusting, it is literally a point and click to approve or refill and print such, never again. New veterinarian was contacted today.
