I love Caribou, but the service at this location (the only one in Oklahoma) leaves a lot to be…read moredesired. When I go, I'm met with employees that seem to be grudgingly working. Since I live in OKC, my trips here aren't as often as I'd like being how much I enjoy Caribou, but probably spread out enough that I don't have to frequently face the rudeness I seem to encounter. One visit, I ordered an iced pumpkin chai latte. I was given just a regular iced latte. When I approached the counter to get the correct order, the incorrect order was practically snatched from my hands with an eye roll and loud huff. When the right order was made, it was thrust at me. I merely said thank you and went on my way. But I didn't realize getting the right order was such a huge deal. But hey - there's a big difference between tea and coffee, even if they both include the word "latte." Recently I went there for yet another iced pumpkin chai latte and decided to throw in a donut to mix it up a bit. There's a donut labeled "cake donut" and I decide to order it. The label is directly in front of the tray, but it doesn't look very cake-like...but who am I to question what they decide to call their treats? The employee seems confused and begins pointing to every donut but the very one that is actually labeled "cake donut." Finally she comes around to point some more (completely ignoring the label directly in front of the donut I want) and I said "no, the one right here labeled cake donut." She gives me a look and says incredulously "that's a long john!" Ok well sorry that YOU all labeled it incorrectly - I'm just going by what's actually on there. I just tell her that's fine, I still want that one. She's already charged me and that's when another girl approaches her and says "what are you doing?! Stop!" Being a retail manager I'm thinking how that's NOT how you approach a fellow employee in front of a customer, but I digress. Finally that second girl looks at me and says "looks like you got a good deal on a donut today..." as though somehow *I* was the sneaky one and switched their donuts signs when they weren't looking. A moment later she hands me my chai latte and tells me how she made it in record time. Well great, I'm glad it took you all of a few minutes to put some ice in a cup, put the pumpkin sauce in, pour in the chai latte, and mix it up...being that I was the ONLY person placing an order or even in line. Thing is, had they had a good attitude about it all, I wouldn't have cared and would have laughed along with them. But I don't like being treated like I am a nuisance for simply placing an order or that I'm somehow the one at fault for them labeling things incorrectly or wanting a simple order made right (I'm not one of those crazy specialty order people, the pumpkin chai latte is a basic seasonal menu item at Caribou). I drive up to Stillwater several times a year and stop by Caribou each time and always have similar experiences, but the iced pumpkin chai latte stories stand out since I was just there. Really it's only getting three stars because I love the drinks and have for years from growing up in Chicago. But sometimes I wish there was another location away from those at OSU that clearly don't want to work there.

Everyman - Live music on some evenings. Lots of seating options.

This restaurant is relatively new in town and their food is really good…read more We had their fish tacos, which were fresh and well balanced. We also tried their brisket nachos, which was so good! The fries were tasty, too. Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu and I'm looking forward to checking out Thursday night karaoke!

Everyman makes Stillwater better. Love the "mom & pop shop" feel. Even though their BEST barber,…read moreDestiny, is no longer there, this is still one of the best places to get a solid fade. (I know, personal opinion.) Adrian has only cut my hair once, but he will not disappoint on the fade. I've bought cologne from EM, coffee (fantastic), cold brew equipment, shampoo, etc. I've been impressed by everything I bought. They are a bit pricey on some things, but nothing unexpectedly expensive. To all my Stillwater folks, give EM a try if you haven't already! Some critiques: It can be a challenge to schedule a journeyman/senior barber on Saturdays. A lot of us are doing the whole 8-5 thing, and Saturday is almost always the best day to get a fresh cut. Not that big of a deal, but I wish it were easier. It was easier in the past (1 year ago and prior). Also, the other day I went in to buy some coffee for myself and my wife, and when I asked for a medium roast... I was told that "we don't believe in that, but we have coffee beans from here, there, etc..." Now, as a black coffee enthusiast, it felt like that comment was a departure from reality. I brushed it off and chose by origin instead of roast... I hope that's not an attempt to fight racism or something. How beans are roasted make a huge difference in taste, how they are brewed, even ground. This incident happened a few weeks ago (March 2023). Some of that is just nitpicking, but I really love going to EM. I also look forward to their expansion!
