But this was done right! And afain! So good! They were the only coffee shop open on Sundays and it was perfect weather walking around downtown Guthrie with delicious coffee. The inside had cute decor and friendly people. The reason I downed a star is there was a strong cat urine smell in the coffee shop area. Due to that we did not visit the cat area because I am sure it was worse inside. I am sure we just hit a bad day, but no cat snuggles for us. The cats looked so sweet and adorable.

We were quite surprised when we were told the milk would actually be coming IN the teapot and not on the side. We asked specifically if it was going to come IN the pot, and the cashier said, "Oh, yes!" When the teapot arrived at our table, the tea was steeping IN the milk and water and it was a murky, dishwatery-colored liquid not resembling a proper pot of tea. So, we waited, hoping the tea would indeed steep properly. My poor, British friend was horrified that a tea shop anywhere would 'mash' their tea IN the milk as opposed to adding milk after it had brewed. We visited for a while, hoping the tea would get stronger, but unfortunately it lacked most of the lovely flavors we anticipated when smelling a sample of it on the extensive tea wall. Furthermore, our unimpressive pot of tea was $10 ($6 without milk and an added $2 for each of us to have milk). We both felt the concept was very unique and were excited to try a tea shop in Stillwater. However, our first visit very much missed the mark and our disappointing initial experience will most likely not warrant a subsequent visit.

Tbh I was fully prepared to have another average breakfast burrito, but was pleasantly surprised with how delicious it was. I had the Jeff's Way burrito and it is an example of what a solid breakfast burrito should be. I have not had any other dishes here at Sinaloa, so their burritos are the only thing I can vouch for. Sidenote: It's a bit wild that a place that's pumping out some of the best breakfast burritos in the greater Oklahoma City metro is located in north Edmond of all places. lol
