I have been to other locations of The Surf Bar, but this was my first visit to the Shawnee location. It is the perfect spot for a cool, refreshing treat. I ordered the Aloha bowl with açaí base. I don't care for banana, so I subbed blueberries. Absolutely delicious! The only slight negative is that the coconut came in large pieces, and the other times I have had the aloha bowl, it was made with more finely shredded coconut, which I preferred. What an awesome addition to Shawnee. Delicious, healthy, and a fun place to hang out! They have a kids menu which makes me happy. Feeding my kids smoothies is how my kids get their veggies! I tried the Islander and it was cold, flavorful, and topped with lots of goodies! There was a pretty decent portion also. Definitely will come back! read more

If you are wanting to get a healthy meal and one that is going to give you that full feeling while being unbelievably tasty at the same time, The Surf Bar Ok is where it's at! This gem is hidden on the North Side of Shawnee close to I40. Simplified menu with Açaí Bowls, smoothies, and warm foods. Such as bagels and sandwiches. I absolutely love all of the açaí bowls that i have tried. The Staff is always super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is super nice and clean with that beach feel. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to eat a little healthier and get a tasty treat at the same time. I challenge you to try the entire menu! You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but we have the BEST Acai Bowl shop right here in Shawnee. Tyler's Surf Bar, located in Vanity Square is the perfect breakfast (or any other meal) stop for me. I love to pop in and grab a morning oatmeal or acai bowl. The place is cozy, the staff is friendly and the fruit is always fresh and beautiful. This is a great stop for people trying to eat more plant slant! read more

We LOVE coming to The Surf Bar! The smoothie bowls are an amazing meal- the cool, creamy, smooth texture topped with fresh, plump berries and fruit, seeds and a glistening of honey.
