My prior experiences at Heavenly Grind have been nothing short of excellent! I am not from Oklahoma originally but my longtime partner is. And, she is always stressing the importance of grabbing caffeine at this spot for their tasty lattes and delicious sandwich options. Anytime we make a trip here, we are consistently met with a warm welcome and engage in genuine conversations with the staff. The owner's hospitality is truly infectious and her good energy makes her customers feel at ease before going to work or a long road trip. The blend of ingredients in their lattes are also quite unique and give Heavenly Grind a signature flavor profile that you can't find anywhere else. Their lattes really do taste like your favorite aunt made them! Don't sleep on the food either. My favorite sandwich is the Croisammie with the spicy jelly! I got stuck east of Ada in Coalgate after a STEM presentation due to weather. Driving home the next morning I was in serious need of coffee but didn't want gas station coffee. Finally I came to Shawnee and found this place on Yelp. It's a cute little drive thru or walk up place and they offer a variety of coffee drinks and smoothies. I went straight for the 16oz Red Eye - house brew with 2 shots of espresso. I asked if they had almond milk, they did, and she asked if I wanted a flavor or sweetener. She then suggested their house made vanilla and said it would be really good with my coffee. She was right! My coffee was hot and very delicious. I immediately felt like I was human again and can easily finish my drive back to OKC. If I'm back in Shawnee early one morning, I will definitely go out of my way to come back for this delicious coffee! read more

Since when did they change to hard boiled eggs for their burritos? That's the main food item I get from this place and it's normally good but I couldn't get past two bites this time. The last time I thought I was just crazy because it wasn't as noticeable but this time it's all hard boiled egg. I've never heard of that before and it was not good at all. Holy cow.... I did not expect this place to be so good. I didn't have low expectations by any means, we heard it was a must try, but I didn't know just HOW GOOD it was.... until yesterday. We each got a regular coffee (black for my husband and cream and one Splenda for myself)... something plain... but oh, so, good! I'm not hyping this up, seriously the best coffee I've ever had. Starbucks is a joke compared to this! (And I love me some Starbucks) My husband am I talked about it all day... but then I went to Walmart and bought pods since we were out. Now we're stuck with mediocre coffee and woke up this morning saying damn I wish we had heavenly grind. Soooooo my husband is now on the way to get us each a coffee even tho we have 100 pods in the cabinet lol ALSO!!! Get. A. Muffin. Truuuuust me. I got one for my son, one years old, and he ate the whole thing. Normally he throws his food after a few bites but he downed the muffin and didn't share with the dogs. I'm not usually in Shawnee, but while in town today I figured I'd check this place out rather than stop in at Starbucks. Nice lady working the window was super helpful and patient while we decided what to order. Drink prices are very affordable, to the point we wondered if they would actually be any good. However, we were pleasantly surprised how tasty our drinks were. I got a 16oz (medium) iced vanilla latte, my wife got a 12oz (small) frozen mocha with whip, and our 3yo son got a small chocolate milk with a whipped cream "flower" on the top of his straw. We were all happy with our orders and will definitely return next time we're in Shawnee. If Heavenly Grind reads this, my suggestion would be to add cold brew coffee (not just coffee over ice, but actual *cold brew*) to the menu, at least in small daily batches. My husband and I are driving from Arizona to North Carolina on a road trip and decided to stop and get coffee in Shawnee. We love finding cute places like heavenly grind. My husband got a strawberry banana smoothie and an everything bagel with cream cheese, he loved it. I got an iced snickers coffee with a cheddar jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and it was sooooo good. The coffee was very sweet but it's a snickers flavor so what else is it supposed to be lolz. Coffee is the language my soul speaks especially in the mornings... but also late in the evening as well. This drive through coffee stand had been on my radar to try for some time now, especially since it's an independent local place. My husband ordered just a plain latte and "liked" it well enough. I ordered a specialty latte and fortunately for me I ordered half the pumps of syrup. It's was so unbelievably sweet!!! I ended up bringing it home to try and doctor it up by adding more coffee to it...still don't work. So I literally poured $5 down the drain. That all being said I will most likely try again but this time going in with the knowledge that 1/4 of a pump of syrups is what to order. read more

I love this place!! I bring my own cup for drip cold brew and it's seriously only $3, which is way better then most coffee places. The have a great staff and are pretty fast to get you your items. Their muffins are tasty as well! My daily stop, which is hands down better then any other coffee shop in Shawnee. I love supporting this small business! I drink coffee 1-2x a week. Starbucks had a line one afternoon when the craving hit, so I tried this little shack of wonder. The prices and menu were instantly pleasing. My first thought was "Why have I been paying so much at a chain?" It appeared most all drinks here were between $3-4. I think my medium was $3.45. And this medium was the size of Starbucks' large. Grande for real. I ordered an iced mocha with no whip (I don't like whip, but I should note that I think whip costs extra here). Waited maybe 2 minutes, tops, and the magic juice was in my hands. The cup was generic and came with a coffee lid. That alone deserves 5 stars. I don't drink coffee to show off where I got it from. And I've always hated Starbucks' clear cups... I don't want people to see me sippin' all that chocolately syrup goodness... it looks sorta gross when you get to the bottom. Anyway, generic cup, more professional in my opinion. Now, the drink. AMAZING. Like I said, I only do coffee a couple times a week... That's about to change. This java had more flavor than I'd ever had in any coffee ever. It was perfect and I never wanted it to end. Stopped by here yesterday before taking a road trip to Dallas. So convenient that it's a drive through. I got the pumpkin spice latte -- delicious and probably better than most I've had, even at larger chains. My husband got the Tornado which has maybe 6 (can't remember exact amount) shots of espresso. Also so so good! Prices are reasonable. Staff is super friendly! Service is quick. We'll definitely be supporting this local vendor more frequently! read more

I normally get a vanilla extreme frappe or iced coffee however I just happened to see the green tea frappe and decided I'd get it instead and honestly I didn't think I'd like it but I actually do the tea taste isn't overpowering it's very slight and it's like a creamed tea it taste exactly like powdered coffee creamer that my grandma used to use which is a good thing to me but totally not what I was expecting the ladies who work there are really nice they normally give my dogs treats and my dogs loved them so much that I was gonna buy some so i looked them up because I always look up food before I buy it for my dogs to make sure they're safe and they aren't they have killed alot of dogs so now I won't let them give my dogs any more treats it's upset my dogs that they no longer can have them but I don't want them getting sick read more

I go here 4-5 times a week me and my husband both have stopped going to Starbucks and come here instead. The owner is the sweetest lady and she is so helpful when it comes to getting something new.
