But when you're on an adventure, you do adventurous things, right? So glad we did! Hubby ordered a Grilled Ham n Cheese and I went with a Mushroom Swiss Burger. They proudly customize burgers any way you want! I also noticed and appreciated that the burger patties were hand smooshed instead of mechanically squeezed to death (it sure looked a lot bigger than your typical franchise burgers!). There were several high schoolers doing a great job handling the kitchen and taking orders! Hubby attacked his GH&C sandwich too quickly so I didn't get a pic, but they were very generous with the ingredients and he enjoyed every bite. After reading some of the past reviews, it looks like the new owners have really turned things around. Kudos to them! We look forward to making this stop a habit when visiting the grandkids!

The breakfast burrito and two egg breakfast were delicious. The coffee was great too! A local spot serving soups, salads, and sandwiches. I had the clam chowder, which was good. The side salad was iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and croutons. The lettuce was wilty. I had the mushroom burger with a side salad and my buddy did the cowgirl burger with fries. The burger was hand formed and cooked perfectly on both burgers. The mushrooms on mine were plentiful and the bacon on the cowgirl burger I am told was also perfect. The side salad was huge and my buddy's burger also came with a load of onion rings and a heaping of fries. Although this place is dated, it is kept clean and tidy. The bowling alley has 8 lanes and a very cool vintage above floor ball return. One of the owners talked to us for a bit and couldn't have been nicer. It's good to know they are dedicated to making this place work in this beautiful town. If your passing through town I couldn't recommend this place more. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but I am quite sure that you will love what you get from the inside. I also want to mention that it is also an excellent value. Very reasonable prices with a load of food brought to the table. One last thing, in addition to bowling there are two pool tables available if you want to go that route for some fun.

We were on a motorcycle trip and held up at some construction about 75 miles away when a truck driver said to keep going until you get to the Broken Arrow and you won't be disappointed. You won't go away hungry and if you're worried, just order family style and it'll just keep coming. We were just looking for food, but saw that they had lodging as well (cabins and rv park) and thought "let's just stay". They were prepping for dinner and told us to go check out the cabin and if we liked it, we could just settle up later. The cabins are clean and very reasonable, $45-55 depending if they have a bathroom in them or not. There is a shared camp restroom and shower right there though. RV hookups are $25, I believe. If you're looking for the Marriott Marquis, just keep on driving. However, if you want the most reasonable lodging on US 93, this is the place.
