The staff at "The Next Street" school office in the Liberty Plaza on the Post Road in Orange should be ashamed of the poor example they set by parking their work vehicles (Car #192) in the fire lane right in front of their office, instead of walking a few more feet to park in a proper parking space. They are sending a signal to students and the public that it's OK to scoff the law and park in a clearly marked NO PARKING FIRE ZONE. They should be damn ASHAMED of themselves setting this bad example, especially since they supposed to be in the business of teaching good driving habits and observing good safety practices. read more

Learning to drive during a pandemic is challenging, but The Next Street made it possible. The online classes were informative and there are loads of online resources to help prospect drivers review and practice. The Next Street driving instructors were informative, supportive, and helpful. Scheduling the road test through TNS made the road test far less stressful as we were able to avoid the hassles of the DMV. It's definitely worth the extra money! read more

Overall I was very pleased with the experience my twin daughters and myself had using TNS but I came here specifically to talk about one person in particular. I'm so upset with myself that I didn't keep the form provided that included his full name but hopefully this feedback reaches him (or better yet, his supervisor!). Monday 5/9/2022 at 9AM, we went to the Orange CT TNS location for my girls license tests and were greeted by a friendly man named Bob. He was SO kind, SO thoughtful, and SO thorough. As I said, we've had a good experience overall but Bob was by far the most pleasant individual we dealt with. I do hope that he is appreciated by the company as his calm sweet demeanor was so refreshing - especially in such a crazy time in the world and certainly during an already stressful situation (heading into back to back road tests!). We were happy with NTS - the ONLY thing I was disappointed with is that they offered a $20 discount when enrolling more than one person at a time and I never received that. I was bummed that $20 was all they offered to take off but that's fine - and then it was never applied, to my knowledge. Otherwise, I recommend. Especially that Bob! :) read more

Another update prospective customers should be aware of. I prepaid for road test license testing at a NextStreet location (rather than at DMV) when I registered my son. I find out AFTER that the only license testing dates/times offered are weekdays during school hours. Now since I prepaid, I will have to take him out of school to test in Orange. Had I known, I probably would not have paid for testing with NextStreet in advance, so he could test at a DMV location on a Saturday. I just feel like a lot of this information is not told when you register and pay. Right now, there is only one available date for testing in Orange and it is a Wednesday in 2019 in the morning between 8 and 11:45 when most of these students are in school. I searched for a license road test date using their website feature at any of the NextStreet locations on a Saturday, and there are none--only weekdays. The folks at NextStreet are nothing but professional and friendly. Just be careful to do your research and ask lots of questions before you commit to registering and signing up for the extras offered. read more

I can't say enough good things about the next street driving school! They are accommodating and go over and above to make sure you have an enjoyable experience! More importantly your child walks out of there with the knowledge and confidence needed in order to be a responsible driver! A special thanks to the young man that helped organize all the times for classes and driving lessons! This was not an easy task with the hectic schedule that we all have now a days! His main goal was to make this a stress free experience and he succeeded!! He answered every question and concern that you could possibly have and he responded to every email the same day if not the next morning!
