I signed up here years ago with the hope that I could get a discount on my car insurance as a new…read moredriver by having successfully completed a driving school. The day I went in and talked to the clerk here, he told me at first that I would be able to take my driving lessons in Danbury, but that the classes were held in some other town, somewhere I couldn't get to. This was a dealbreaker for me for obvious reasons, but before I could leave he told me to wait a minute, he went and made a phone call, then came back and assured me I could complete the entire course, both the class work and the practical, all from the Danbury location. I handed him $700 and signed up. A week later when I was trying to sign up for classes the secretary told me I'd have to go to that other location, the one I couldn't get to, for all of my classes, and that they 100% could not accommodate me as promised. I explained what I was promised, and she was just kind of like "Oh, yeah that person shouldn't have told you that, it wasn't true." But they also just simply refused to refund my money... This place is a complete and total scam and it is honestly shocking to me that they've managed to stay in business. Go anywhere else, at the very least use a credit card so you can try and reverse charges if it turns out they fed you a line like they did to me!

He not only drove up an on ramp to avoid sitting in traffic, but 10 minutes later I saw him again, this time squeezing the car in between not two, but THREE tractor trailers to try to creep up the slow vehicle lane. I thought for sure he was going to be crushed at this point. Whatever you do, DO NOT let your kids learn to drive through this school. Shame on this driver for setting such a bad example.

Considering that this is an eight hour class just for one piece of paper you'd think that it would be filled out correctly. Wrong! Two weeks later when I arrived to the DMV for my road test, I was sent away due to incompletion on the CS-1. I tried in every way I could to maneuver my way around the situation, and asked if I could stop by the company and quickly get it signed. Im sure all of you know the DMV and how imperative it is to be perfect on the road test. So bottom line I was force to reschedule. Following this I went to Drivers Education Station to have the form signed and to speak to a manager about my situation. I arrive there at 9:45 to find nobody's there. A sign stood on the door that said someone would arrive at 10 o'clock. I killed some time and arrive there promptly at 10 o'clock once again nobody was there. I waited there till 1015 AM nobody was there. It was then I called and spoke to a representative name Alex, who basically gave me the runaround. Following that I called the Station again and spoke to a woman named Maria who claimed to be there at 10 o'clock but was nowhere to be found until after 1015. At which time I left. On our phone call she told me to return to the station before 3 o'clock which was the closing time. I arrive there at 2 o'clock to meet the owner. Who signed the paper and gave me a partial refund. Which is the only reason this rating is getting a 2 star. Upon my departure he went on to say "yeah everything needs to be flawless with the DMV". Like ok, If everything needs to be flawless then perhaps employees for next time need to make sure that everything is signed correctly. It's a hassle to get an appointment in the first place. Then let alone the scheduling, taking days off from work, get the car checked etc. etc. etc.. My advice-Do better.

They sent us to the DMV twice and twice we were turned away because the school didn't file the paperwork. Now we need to go back a third time. When you call the school to find out what is going on it just rings and rings. No voicemail and no calls back. The only good thing is that they were close to home and class schedules were convenient. So it gets one stars for that; but I will definitely be looking elsewhere for my second child.

That crucial detail is hidden until they've already charged you. Need a refund? It's a joke. They say it takes 3-4 weeks because they "only process refunds once a month." When the refund doesn't come, you have to call back--then you're told it'll be another 3-4 weeks. It feels intentionally designed to wear you down. This business runs on misinformation and delay tactics. Avoid at all costs.
