I came here a few weekday mornings while working in the area. It's really close to the Monument tube station and there's a good amount of seating, which makes it a good place to hang out and get some work done. There's free wi-fi and it was pretty reliable.
The coffeeshop has a lot of cool coffees sourced from different parts of the world, like Cape Town and North Carolina. You can browse the different types on the tablets up front and see the sources, flavor profiles, etc. It was all a bit complicated for me, but the staff members seemed happy to explain the types and provide recommendations of what would go well with milk, etc. They only accepted card payments; I didn't have any issues using my American bank card.
If you have your coffee to stay, they bring it out in a cute tray; a few times the staff included a glass of water, but not always. Either way, there's free water and glasses if you want to get water yourself. There was 1 unisex bathroom; the café and facilities seemed clean.
A few times, I got some non-coffee items, including a hot chocolate and a vegan coconut tart. They were both fine, but not too remarkable. I think the coconut tart would've been easier to eat with a fork than with your hands, but I didn't get any cutlery when it was brought to me. They have a small selection of other snacks too, and they all seem to be pretty mini in size (the croissants were also mini), but really cute to look at.
Overall, not a bad place to have some coffee. They have a loyalty program where you can get a stamp at each visit and work towards a free drink after 10 stamps, so if you anticipate coming here a lot, maybe ask to get that stamp card. read more
