    So much temptation

A very tiny place but with friendly staff ( and not much sitting unfortunately ) This place is nice to grab a delicious coffee on your way for Camden town market ( or anywhere else !) I took a cappucino, it was really good with nice latte art on the top !

Teeny, Tiny spot(maybe 12 stools inside and half a dozen outside. Perfect coffee, fresh pastries, efficient and friendly service.

    Beautiful latte!

Definitely one of the best lattes I've ever had...they also have a bunch of pastries and small breakfast items including sandwiches, croissants, breads, cakes, and cookies. The baristas are soooo incredibly friendly which just adds to the great atmosphere of the place. The shop is very small so when it's busy, you'll have to take away. There is a nice little bench outside though.

After a day at the zoo and Camden market, this is a cute little coffee shop to chill for a bit. I've been to my fair share of independent coffee shops around the globe and quite liked the coffee here. The shop is very small with limited seats, but they have free wifi if you ask for the password. They do iced coffee as well as regular ones plus a selection of treats and the staff were polite and friendly. The downside is that it's tiny and had no toilet, so you would have to try sneak into somewhere else. Also, its on the loud site so not exactly a place to sit for a long time Starbucks style. Overall, a cute little independent coffee shop not too far off from Camden Market.

Very kind service from the lovely owner. Very tiny spot for my family of 5 but we were accommodated nicely. Local art for sale on the walls. The coffee and treats were delicious.

This is a quaint little coffee shop tucked on the road to Camden serving Monmouth coffee, pastries and sandwiches served on burnished tiles. The coffee is ace with the mocha not being overly sweet and nicely presented. Their brownie is also incredible - wonderful chocolate-y gooey-ness inside but with a flakier top layer. Easily one of the best I've had in London. My only gripe is the seating space although they have made the most out of the tiny area they have to create a warm, cozy vibe. If you come on weekends, be prepared to wait in line and have your coffee to go.

Really tiny coffee shop around kings cross area. Had a black americano and I really like it! I didn't add any sugar, not even milk (usually I prefer to have some half and half), but my coffee this morning was not sour but smooth and rich. Aside from the drink I had a croissant. It's just... a croissant. It wasn't warmed up so it tastes a little bit sad. I kind of understand though, because the space is so tiny, it wouldn't be that feasible to have an oven anyways. Overall it satisfied my morning coffee craving and people watching was fun if you sit by the window!

Good flat white and the camomile tea was good too. Looks like they get their coffee stock from the Camden Coffee Shop round the corner as the bags of coffee (same packaging) on display looks like it came straight from there, and when you walk in have the same aroma. The banana bread was also good. Shame the place is tiny though, and hardly any standing room either, to wait to be served. Disappointed when overcharged, and was given the lame excuse that the till does not know whether it was take away or not! Although they did apologise.

I found The Coffee Jar to be a very warm and welcoming environment. The team are polite and attentive, ensuring that every possible effort was made for a nice experience. The peppermint tea was delicious as was the orange juice. Great location situated just off Regents Park. A nice little hidden gem! Definitely recommend this little cafe!

Started working in nearby Mornington Cres recently. Deprived of good cover aside from Leyas which can at times be inconsistent. Then I discovered The Coffee Jar. Super pleased. Pretty good long blacks. And also iced coffee . They use Monmouth beans. It's only a tiny shop though, so good luck trying to get a seat.

It's just beside the camden main road and very tiny coffee shop. Lots of cakes and pastries to choose from. Banana cake served with yogurt is absolutely awesome. I took the cappuchino and its simply good coffee!

Cappuccino! - had to specifically ask for a real cup rather than a take out one!

I loved this little place! Really cute coffee shop. Only enough space to seat 10 people max but if you're lucky enough to grab a seat then it's worth staying. They have a good selection of hot drinks. I had a cappuccino which came in a lovely cup and saucer. The coffee was really nice and came beautifully presented. They also have a selection of local art on display which is also up for purchase. Having a sweet tooth I also had a double chocolate cookie. It was full of flavour - but it was a large soft cookie not a crunchy one if that's what you're into! I would definitely go there again to grab a quick drink - but due to the size it's probably not a place to stay and hang out with friends for a long time.

A tiny little gem, just hidden off Regents Park. Great coffee, good music and an ample selection of cakes and pastries. The lady here was really welcoming too. Great to support these little businesses so I'll definitely be back

Excellent coffee refuge near a super touristy Camden market. The baristas are very friendly as well.

Went for Afternoon Tea…read more Food - 5/5. Teas had great aroma and gentle bitterness. Earl grey had a floral scent while the English breakfast had a stronger astringent flavor. The scones were the highlight of the entire experience. Compared to the scones in America, the ones here are more savory, firmer, and way less sweet. Despite the firm crust, the crumb is very soft, leading to an excellent texture. The clotted cream had a clean richness, having none of the heavy mouthfeel you get from cream. The jam emphasized the natural sweetness of fruit with a hint of sourness. The clotted cream and jam were spread into a perfect ratio, resulting in every bite of the scone having a balance of all three. Sandwiches were simple with the manchego being my favorite. The bread's drier texture and the cheese's strong flavor paired well with the tea. The cake were soft and very sweet. By themselves, the cakes were overpoweringly sweet but with the tea, it was perfect. Service - 5/5. Very accommodating and welcoming! They had an alternate schedule that day and we arrived near their closing time, but they extended it by 30 minutes to allow us to fully enjoy our afternoon tea. We didn't utilize the entire extension out of respect for their time, but that kind of generosity really added to the experience. Value - 5/5. I'm not entirely sure why the cost of afternoon tea is so high as many locations I saw were showing prices that were £80+ . In comparison, Tea and Tattle offers a traditional set for two people at a very reasonable £48. Portions were good and looked the same if not better than those offered at way higher prices. It is worth visiting just for their scones alone! Excellent location to experience afternoon tea. Parking - N/A

My sister-in-law is an amazing planner, and since we were meeting family in London for a few days, she planned a wonderful tea for us here at Tea and Tattle. This place is an old family bookstore that was then turned into a wonderful spot for afternoon tea {with still carrying on the feel and look of a quaint book shop}. Reservations are required since it is only large enough for two, maybe three seatings at a time. Once your party is seated, you will receive your menu and decide on the Tea menu that you desire {how many Teas, Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones - with a wide variety of each}. Would you prefer a Coffee, a Smoothie or a Salad? No worries, they have those options as well. Be sure to inform your host about any allergies as they can customize your tea settings based on any restrictions. The Hubs and I decided on the Tea For One - This included a pot of Earl Grey {or your tea of choice}, a selection of five Mini Tea Sandwiches which may vary {ours included Cream Cheese, Chive and Cucumber / Mature Cheddar and Chutney / Ham, Rocket and Red Onion Marmalade / Ham with Mayo, Mustard and Tomato / Chicken with Cucumber and Lemon Mayo Chutney}, Scones topped with a Delicious, Mouth-Watering Cream and Strawberry & Raspberry Jams as well as Lemon Cake and Mini Chocolate Eclairs. Each guest will also be served a deliciously tangy glass of lemonade as a final sip for the afternoon. Every single bite and sip of tea was perfectly paired and the experience was a wonderful way to spend our last day in London with the family. I highly recommend this experience if you want to feel a little extra fancy and enjoy a spectacular afternoon tea.

Their servings are HUGE, and are so affordable too! I left wishing my mother and I had the ability to save our leftovers for later, because we hated wasting any of the delicious food that we ordered. Even before we got our food we were pretty excited. When you walk in you're greeted here with a beautiful sight: fresh sandwiches, bread, and pastries, all on display right at their main counter. Once we were seated I noticed little flower pots line the window, too. Fresh food and flowers - what more can you ask from a cafe for a first impression? We also loved the owner and his wife: they were very kind and they constantly kept us up to date on our food order, just to mention what was done and what they still needed to do or cook. They clearly work hard to provide fresh fast meals - and we learned quickly as people came in and out of the place that takeaway is available here. But we wanted to enjoy a sit down meal, and enjoy we did! I started mine with fresh squeezed juice - we're talking so fresh you'll want to add sugar to it if you're used to the juice that comes in stores. And when our English breakfasts came out? Just, wonderful. My mother and I each received SO much food. Both meals came with amazing buttered bread (like, I would have happily eaten an entire plate of bread and only bread), hash browns so fresh that they may as well have given us the original potatoes (yum), and what I can really only describe as a mountain of beans, eggs, and meat (well, on mine anyway - not so much on my mother's vegetarian breakfast order). All of it absolutely delicious, and every single bite made me smile wider and wider. Definitely walk on in if you're near this little shop. Don't be afraid to order one meal and share it if there's only two of you, either - you'll likely both leave well fed, and you can always order a little more food if you want too from that great looking counter of theirs...
