This is my friend's favorite escape room so it's been on my list to try for a while! They're closed Sundays which made it harder to visit but I finally was able to come on a Saturday and do the Mogollon Monster room as a group of 5. This has to be the most immersive escape room I've done! The staff did an amazing job getting into character and setting the scene. Normally at escape rooms you have to ask if you want a clue but here they just gave you a few. One of the times I felt like I would've figured it out on my own in time. I don't want a clue unless we're really stuck haha. We finished with 10 minutes to spare. After we finished, our host asked if we had any explanations and further explained some of the puzzles. I also love the speakeasy-style hidden entrance with the code word and you can order milkshakes from Soda Jerk from the escape room lounge after you complete the escape room. I definitely want to come back and do the other two escape rooms here! read more

Our party of 4 completed the Evil Robots and this was a fantastic escape room. Our host was excellent. I appreciated that she allowed us to struggle but also kept us moving along. I don't want to give anything away in this review so I'll just summarize it and say this is a top notch escape room experience with excellent set up. I wish we had time to do all the rooms but definitely are looming forward to completing more when we visit again. read more

One thing I would recommend is telling the staff to not give you hints if you don't want them since we got some when we didn't want them but overall had a really fun enjoyable experience. The Nemesis Club is a secret escape room that has three different game rooms. It's hidden behind a secret door (Soda Jerk's freezer door) and you give them the secret password to get in! You have to have a reservation for which escape game you want to play. They have Mongolian Monster, The Evil Robots, and Henchmen's Heist. My kids have now done them all, Henchmen's Heist being the newest room they just played this week. The game takes an hour and reservations are between 4-8 people. If you have a larger group they can accommodate that as well. My daughter had her birthday party with a larger group and they were very easy to work with! The girls did the game and then enjoyed shakes from Soda Jerk in their private lounge in the back. The games involve puzzles and are challenging, but you can ask for help along the way. My kids and I have done a lot of escape rooms and really enjoy the Nemesis Club. It's so creative and fun. The way they time each group for the different games is great because you really feel like you're the only group back there. The design of the entire place is so cool, love every last detail. Such a fun time! We've done a handful of escape rooms with our kids, 9 & 13, and this was the most fun we've had - hands down! It's a little bit of a drive for us coming from the Gilbert area but so worth it. My kids knew we were doing an escape room, but I didn't tell them about the secret entrance so they had no idea and that made it even more awesome! They thought we were just getting a treat because we were early for our scheduled time. Sam really committed 1000% and she made our experience so memorable. We did the Evil Lab and saved the world just in time! The kids were already planning our next trip back on our drive home. read more

Arguably some of the best that we saw while in Phoenix. *Disclaimer that each person in our group has done 100+ escape rooms. Nemesis club hosts 3 escape: Mongolon Monster Evil Robots Henchman's Heist My personal favorite of the 3 was the Mongolon Monster, Henchmen's Heist, followed by Evil Robots. Usually rooms with high production value like this one have weak puzzles, but I enjoyed every single puzzle in the room. O M G. This is a must stop! I actually heard about them from an NPR show about escape rooms. The person who was being interviewed was prompted on the better escape rooms out there and Nemesis was one he named! I immediately looked it up and we booked a time to go. This isn't a standard escape room. It is highly interactive. You have a host person that is part of the game. They explain the "adventure" you are about to partake and leave you on your own from there- but will offer help from along the way if needed. We did the Mogollon Monster room. I highly recommend this room! It was quick paced, fun and even scary at times! We are scheduling some of the other rooms when we can so don't rule out any of the others. If you like games and escape rooms go to Nemesis Club! And not to spoil the secret, but at the end of every game there is a sweet treat available! read more

Magical, amazing, fun, adventure! I've tried a few escape rooms and this one is hands down the best. From the beginning when you first step into the icecream shop and enter via secret door it's just a cute whimsical experience. We just finished our second room at the Nemesis Club, Evil Robots, and had a great time! Both Robots and Mogollon Monster were just on another level compared to other escape rooms we have tried. The experiences are very immersive and the attention to all the little details is definitely there. The puzzles are challenging, and a nice variety of unique puzzles that fit the themes of each room. Our guide was also super helpful with some minor tips when we got stuck that helped get us on track but did not just totally give the puzzle away. Plus it such a treat to be able to celebrate with some tasty ice cream treats in the special speakeasy lounge after a successful escape. We are looking forward to going back and trying out Henchman's Heist and any other rooms that the wonderful folks at Nemesis come up with in the future. read more

Best escape room in Arizona. I have done monster 3 times, robots 3 times and heist 1 time. Every game is so immersive it actually ruins all other escape rooms. This must spend a lot of money on these rooms and it definitely shows. To give a password to enter is genius also just to find the location is an escape room. I haven't had much experience with escape rooms, this being my 3rd. But this was definitely the best I've done and I can tell that this is one of the best in all of AZ. The theming, commitment by the staff, the details and the puzzle themselves were all 10/10. Our group had an absolute blast and left me wanting to do all the other rooms immediately! I can't believe how well done the theatrics and experience was. So high budget feeling. DEFINITETLY worth the money. Which was actually so affordable. Can't wait to go back! I've been to multiple escape rooms and this is by far the best! It's a very Immersive experience. It's what I would imagine Disney would create if they made an escape room. I liked that the moderator was part of the acting at the beginning. Even when he would talk to give us hints his voice sounded automated as if it wasn't a human, but a machine helping us. We ended up escaping with 8 seconds left. They told us there are currently two rooms with a third getting ready to open soon. I can't wait to go back to try the others! My fiancee and I decided to come to Arizona from the Bay Area to celebrate our joint bachelor/ bachelorette party. Why did we pick Arizona you ask? Because we are both very big escape room enthusiast! And we saw on an escape room ranking website that Mogollon Monsters and EVIL robots were the highest rank in the United States. We just had to come out here and check out the hype!! Our time was limited so we picked the Mogollon room to do (because it ranked higher on the list and it's also Nemesis Club's newest room) I was first very confused as to there the Nemesis Club was. But to my surprised it was in the back of the Soda Jerk milkshake bar. That was an amazing concept to me! The Soda Jerk is a real milkshake bar, with very delicious creations by the way. Once, we walked through the actual door to Nemesis Club, the whole atmosphere changed. You really feel like you're part of some secret society. It's the Illuminati of escape rooms I tell you!! The start of Mogollon was very immersive. One of the most immersive, entertaining, thrilling intros I've ever been apart of. The game master delivered a very good performance. Her reaction, facial expression, and timing with the cues were perfect. Sometimes it really makes a difference in the escape room experienced based on the tone set out by the game masters. The room itself was wonderful. Beautiful set design, you really feel like you're part of the camp grounds. You're constantly reminded of the theme and story line. Which is nice, because sometimes you just got into the escape room and forget the whole premise. You just want to escape. The puzzles were good, they weren't incredibly challenging and its pretty linear. I love the whole theme, concept, immersion, puzzle variety and difficultly. This is truly one of those rare escape rooms where all people of all ages and of all experience can participle in and have fun! Best of all, after completing the Mogollon room, we have the ability to order their special campfire drink. Feels like a special unlock from beating the boss level of a video game. We had such a wonderful time, we squeezed in EVIL robots too! Unfortunately, beating that room doesn't come with a special milkshake... Still an awesome room too! It's been a long time since I did an escape room and this one caught my attention. What a great time! We had so much fun. The games are accessed by mentioning a secret word at an ice cream shop counter and it's amusing to see the confusion on customer faces about why our group was quickly ushered through a side door. The game itself was well done. I like that customers book the entire room so you can decide how big your group is and not have to problem solve with people you don't know (which is far too much like a group project from my days as a student). Our group had four and I think you need at least that many people to work through the puzzles. It was definitely more produced and higher tech than other games I've done (multiple rooms, effects). This is the best best escape room I've been to so far. It was an incredibly experience. We did the Mongollon monster room and I recommend this to anyone who goes, if you only have time for one room, do this one. We found out afterwards it's on the list of top escape rooms in the nation. So appropriately so!! It was by far the most immersive room I've ever been in. Multiple areas within it and really interesting puzzles. They weren't just finding things hiding around but actually good thinking puzzles that made sense with all the pieces around. The employees are definitely committed and should win an award for acting too. I wish I could erase my memory and redo the Mongollon room again. I think it would be challenging with two people, but they give help clues and chime in when needed, in a very not intrusive way as well. We loved this room so much that we ended up doing the evil robots room too as they had a last minute cancellation. It was also a multi part/area room. I think it was more difficult but my brain might have already been fried from the previous room. It's a great science/tech room theme. I loved the secret code to get in from the ice cream shake shop. Once inside, you can fill out waivers and you'll be directed to your room. We did the Mongollon Monster room and I honestly think Nemesis Club has the best rooms and experiences I've ever been to. Great puzzle solving and immersion and some of the best tech use I've seen. These had Disney-level immersion. Unlike some rooms, these are still full of logic puzzles and the tech primarily serves to increase the immersion (which is how it should be!) My group thoroughly enjoyed all the puzzles in Mongollon Monster and escaped with about 6 minutes to spare! Afterwards, we were welcome to dine in for ice cream/milkshakes and sundaes in our own section. Milkshakes are a must have! read more
