He then left town and charged me $150 before telling me I had to wait for someone else to leave my PC on the front porch for pick up the next day. I told him I wanted it that night and I did get it so I took the pc home and after testing it I realized nothing was fixed and all he really did was clear my storage and reinstall windows, which I wouldn't have minded if the issue was resolved but it was not. I spent $150 to have my time wasted and all my storage cleared. He did say I could bring it back the following Monday for the bios but that's the only reason I went in the first place! I'll be finding someone else, definitely not the experience I hoped for after reading other reviews.

I was recommended to Dr Megabyte by my old repair guy because he no longer does repairs. Well,…read morefirst, the owner was mega-rude. Second, they told me it was a bad battery, then told my it was the wrong charger. So probably just the wrong charger but thet still charged me to replace the battery. I paid $280 to replace the battery and replace the charger port, which I think is high. I bought my own new charger. Now 6/8 months later I need to replace the charger port, finding out that they didnt soder it back in. I'm not rich and I can't afford to pay for the same repair twice because they didn't do what they needed to the first time. So, if you want some arrogant dude to talk down to you while overcharging you for a half finished repair, this is the place. Otherwise go somewhere else. FYI owner reminded me of the SNL skit about the office tech guy.
