I was recommended to Dr Megabyte by my old repair guy because he no longer does repairs. Well, first, the owner was mega-rude. Second, they told me it was a bad battery, then told my it was the wrong charger. So probably just the wrong charger but thet still charged me to replace the battery. I paid $280 to replace the battery and replace the charger port, which I think is high. I bought my own new charger. Now 6/8 months later I need to replace the charger port, finding out that they didnt soder it back in. I'm not rich and I can't afford to pay for the same repair twice because they didn't do what they needed to the first time. So, if you want some arrogant dude to talk down to you while overcharging you for a half finished repair, this is the place. Otherwise go somewhere else. Hired them to provide a new workstation for my business. It took numerous attempts for the workstation to become functional. Had to hound them to come back and finish the job. Many missed appointments. Also found out after the fact that we were provided a refurbished computer, which was never disclosed to us. I would not recommend this company. read more

The owner's name is Adam and he's a pretty cool guy, but the prices are outrageous. It may be the only place in town for computer repair, but you would save money going out of town for repair purely because his are so high. And make sure you know that even if you dont want his repairs, its going to cost you money. For a diagnostic it costs $50 no matter what. I went in and told him exactly what I needed done and that everything else was fine. He never told me about not being able to get my computer back until I gave him the $50. When I came back, he said I must pay him because he ran a diagnostic on the computer after I told him he didnt need to. I said no to the repair and now and warning everybody about this scam. read more
