I was recommended to Dr Megabyte by my old repair guy because he no longer does repairs. Well,…read morefirst, the owner was mega-rude. Second, they told me it was a bad battery, then told my it was the wrong charger. So probably just the wrong charger but thet still charged me to replace the battery. I paid $280 to replace the battery and replace the charger port, which I think is high. I bought my own new charger. Now 6/8 months later I need to replace the charger port, finding out that they didnt soder it back in. I'm not rich and I can't afford to pay for the same repair twice because they didn't do what they needed to the first time. So, if you want some arrogant dude to talk down to you while overcharging you for a half finished repair, this is the place. Otherwise go somewhere else. FYI owner reminded me of the SNL skit about the office tech guy.

Bob, the owner is a very matter of fact, but overall decent guy who will help you out. Dont expect to have him chat your ear off or anything- not gonna happen- but he's a nice guy who does his job well. I always felt uneasy that he understood what I wanted with tshirts but then id come back a couple days later to find he did exactly what I wanted. The prices here are more expensive than online but I always prefer to support local small businesses so we've used them for 5 years. Unfortunately I've had to move to an online retailer because of my horrible experience with the guy who works(ed?) for Bob. It's been a year and a half since I made the switch. (Just started thinking about what a jerk this guy was to me and decided to vent). Bob was on vacation when I went to have tshirts made. This guy treated me like I was an idiot. I brought my files the exact way I had many times before, clear instructions of what I needed, and a mock up of the finished product. (Pretty easy, 2 color, front only shirt). The file was an eps file just like I had been instructed many times to bring but that wasn't good enough for him. He wanted it as a vector (I thought it was a vector already) and in ai format. Okkkk I sent him the file and he made fun of me that it was converted to a vector by the program and not drawn that way. Sorry, I'm not a graphic designer or paid for my role. I'm quite sure many people bring much, much worse to them to put on tshirts. This was a high quality, huge vector file.. Not some grainy 72dpi web image. He was so rude I felt like crying. Then when I went to pick up the tshirts they were not even close to the right color. He said it was my fault by not giving him the exact Pantone color number I wanted. (Never needed that before either...Pantone color books are expensive, come on) The color I wanted was bright yellow! Not too hard to figure out! He printed it a beige color. He had my mock up. It was like he wanted to use up what he had and thought I'd take it cause I'm some dumb blonde and I volunteer for a charity. Never one did he apologize. He basically made fun of me the whole time. We had to pay for the reprint of the shirts. Sadly after this experience I moved to jakprints who are not only much cheaper but have amazing customer service and an easy, online ordering system free of jerks demeaning me!

Once I gave him the green light he pulled two suits off the rack and explained things about the styles I still do not fully understand. My Biggest problem with this place is the prices, you can easily find comparable product online (ebay) for a much lower cost. Example: Cassette tapes are priced at $4.99 most places ask $0.50 to $1.00 due to this they sit on their inventory. On the plus side they do barter pretty well when you bring something into trade for in store credit.
