I live in Jackson and recently found this company through a Google search while looking for a new cleaning service. I submitted an ordinary inquiry and received a brief response stating that the company did not have enough staff to service my house. No explanation or reference to any previous contact was provided. I did not remember previously contacting them.
After I reviewed that experience, the owner revealed that we had exchanged brief emails approximately one year earlier. I did not remember those exchanges when I found the company again through Google. We have never spoken by telephone or met in person. When the company's previous pricing or services did not meet my needs, I hired another cleaning provider. Had the owner simply reminded me that we had communicated previously, the misunderstanding could have been clarified immediately.
Instead, the owner published an extraordinarily personal response that identified my street and the specifications of my home, catalogued unrelated reviews I had written, called me "clueless," "delusional," and "desperate," implied that I had legal problems, falsely claimed that I could not obtain cleaning services elsewhere, characterized routine consumer inquiries as harassment, and invited strangers to contact her for copies of our previous correspondence.
I have preserved and reported that response. Prospective customers can decide for themselves whether publicly investigating and attacking a reviewer--and disclosing details about the reviewer's residence--is an appropriate way for a business to handle criticism. read more
