I don't usually get my nails done in Lincolnton, but wanted somewhere accepting walk ins while I…read morehad time between clients at work because I needed a fill in. A friend recommended Bally and after reading reviews and googling prices ($24+ sounded good for a fill in and I expected a little more for gel polish), it seemed like a good fit. I walked in and picked my colors and was immediately seated for my fill in. The nail tech I was seated with, I think her name was Jasmine, but I could be wrong, never even greeted me. She immediately started working on removing the old color. Not only did she constantly get my fingers with the dremel, but she left some of the old color along the edge of some of my nails. I pointed it out and not only did she tell me it wouldn't show through when she was done, but she STILL LEFT IT. When it was time to actually do the fill in she never asked me if I wanted to keep the length, then kind of acted annoyed when I stopped her and told her I needed them much shorter. When she shortened them she didn't compare with the other hand to make sure they were even. Once she started the actual fill in, she didn't even go all the way back on one thumb, which left a pretty large gap and weird hump. I had to tell her to fix that, along with another large hump in the tip of my other thumb where she didn't take her time and make sure she shaped them well. When it finally came time to paint my nails the polish was very thin, which I have never seen with gel polish. After two coats she was going to do a clear top coat and I had to stop her and ask her to go back over them one more time because the color was so thin you could see through it. When she finished she coated my hands in so much oil that I had to wipe them off before I could touch any of my belongings. When I went to pay she told me it was $43. I didn't get any designs, just solid colors with an accent nail on each hand in another color. I wasn't thrilled, but paid it and left. When I got back to work in brighter lighting I noticed how awful they truly looked. They are thick, the shape of the nails are weird with bubbled looking edges, there are streaks and bubbles in the actual polish, they look messy, the old color does show through AND she didn't paint all the way to the edge of my nail, and the lengths STILL aren't even after I asked her to fix it. If she would leave her ear buds out, pay attention to what she's doing and actually ask questions about what her clients want, she might be a decent nail tech, but I'll never know because I will absolutely not be going back and if I had realized how bad they were, I damn sure wouldn't have paid until they were right. That's an hour and a half and $43 wasted on a shitty nail job. My 9 year old could have done better. Edit:::: I went back today and asked for a refund so I could go to my regular nail place to have them fixed. They offered to fix them, but I absolutely did not want that because they messed them up in the first place so I don't trust them to do any better the second time around. I told them that and they refused to refund. I also asked for a price breakdown because $43 for a fill-in didn't seem right.... their website said $24 and up, but apparently its $28 for a fill-in, $10 for gel polish that was so thin it HAD to have been thinned with acetone and $5 to cut your nails down. I have NEVER been charged to have my nails filed down during a fill-in. That's literally part of a fill-in service. I will never go there again and if you want your nails to look good, I wouldn't advise going there either. I've added photos, but they sadly look even worse in person because my camera wouldn't pick everything up on the bright color.

The customer service is nonexistent. The smell is overwhelming.. I eventually walked out.read more
