They were telling me things like if I don't know what's actually wrong with the instrument. They said I need new strings and they replaced the strings and charged me for replacing them which I could have done myself. The buzzing isn't as bad as how it was before. But one suspicious thing is that they put the strings in the wrong spot. Hopefully they don't judge by race and age. But the strings are in the wrong spot. Now I never told them because there's no point of arguing but I'm never going back there again.

I came here to drop off my bass for repair. But I've had bass issues like needing to replace the strings already and having to fix the input jack on the bass. They were very nice here and had the bass done quickly. I like to support local music stores so if one of my friend's doesn't end up starting his own music repair business I'll probably come back to universal to give them business and money.

The programs assist all the students in exploring and honing their musical abilities --and beyond that, young musicians are able to form meaningful alliances with their bandmates and their instructors. Kids have shared with me that they had been anxious to perform until they were supported and encouraged by their teachers. At School of Rock, these students built the confidence to take the leap to performance!! It is so exciting to see the growth and camaraderie at the seasonal shows! I see it in all the kids!! School of Rock is inclusive and supportive-- my child feels at home there.

The lady advised me that it would take about 7 days to do a "transfer", meaning having the music shipped from one store to this one. The other staff, a gentlemen who has long hair (I think his name is Shane) offered to pick up the music from the other store on Monday and brought it to this store on Wednesday. He personally called me on Wednesday to let me know the music was in the store. Unfortunately, when I got to the store and picked up the music, we notice there was a discrepancy and it was not what my son needed to play for NYSSMA. The gentlemen helped me to look into other places where I may purchase the music. He was very kind to offer me directions in terms to where to get the correct piece of music. I was very grateful for his help. I did not make a purchase at the store this time, but I will definitely come back in the future if I need to purchase music pieces and/or instruments.

Needless I am very upset and disappointed in Kolstein. My friend told me they were reliable in the past, but they have completely failed me.
