Joe was great and got me playing a groove that would keep me practicing and enjoying the instrument till the next lesson. Recently my middle schooler started taking drum lessons from James who is also fantastic. The band instructor noticed tremendous improvement within a month and my son exudes confidence while playing. Rossi always has the drum sticks we need in stock and have been VERY accommodating while we try to balance out pandemic schedules. The lessons are priced very competitively, excellent value. They folks aren't just teaching music, they're living it and bringing it to the world!

When I noticed that the original business page for J & L Hardware had the "Yelpers report this…read morelocation has been closed" banner stretched near the top of the page, I decided to make this my 100th Review. I was pretty sure it was still open and I wanted to be sure everyone else knows that J & L Hardware is still open. As I walked toward the door, there was an "OPEN" sign lit up in one window. There was a clerk at the counter and he informed me that the man making a key for a customer was the owner. The owner's name is Juan and he was very nice. I told him about Yelp having his business listed as closed and I asked if it was okay to take some pictures. As you can see by the pictures, J & L Hardware is indeed open! I tried to check-in on the original page but since it was "closed", I had to open a new business page to check-in. I have notified Yelp of this situation and I hope they will be able to combine both pages because William H left a nice review on the original business page. As for the hardware store, aside from better lighting, some newer products, a different owner and signage - - it hasn't changed too much from the way I remembered it as Reck's Hardware in the 50-60's! (Although it was Reck's longer than that.) I have been in here on occasion over the years--I used to do more work on my house and it was convenient for me to come here if I needed something. More recently, my neighbor was able to pick up some bolts at J & L Hardware to fix my gate - - it was a lot more convenient and pleasant than going to Home Depot. My experience with the place was well, the store was small but easy to find things that are needed for supplies,( well some to most things you can find there) the owner was a generous man that grateful he greets us customers and helps them find what they need, the items are at a fair price, only two things that I don't really find fond of was that there is no public bathroom and you can only pay in card if it's over ten dollars what you are purchasing. Other then that, it's a great place, don't know why it said that it's closed.
