The fries were extra crispy, the chicken and waffles were divine, and my friend said it was one of the best chicken Caesar salads she had. The Saturday and Sunday brunches come with all you can drink mimosas or bloody Marys. Even though none of us drink we thought that was great. The show began shortly after lunch and was highly entertaining! Each $40 ticket included lunch and the show. We loved every minute of it! These queens are so dedicated to their craft, and their costume changes and wig changes were incredible! Like I said it was my friend's birthday celebration, and for $10 more she got to be put on stage and have a picture taken with two queens. All in all it lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes, and we all had a fantastic time! This was my third or fourth time there, and it is a great place to do any kind of celebration! Instead of taking responsibility for the lack of clear disclosure, he blamed it "new ownership" and on "new policies" that he is required to follow. He also told me that the 8% tax was because the theater is considered part of the Beach, even though the location is in Eastern Shores. That explanation did not make the situation any more reassuring. Regardless of what the internal policy may be, customers deserve clear and upfront disclosure of mandatory charges before paying. An 18% gratuity is significant, and hiding it in fine print or displaying the notice in a way that customers cannot reasonably see is not good customer service. I left feeling that the theater was more interested in defending the charge than addressing a legitimate concern. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale.
