Took an EGO mower in for a warranty repair. Two weeks later and no parts even ordered. The last several days they stated the part was ordered and on the way, but EGO advised they had not ordered anything and were not being truthful. An associate promised to follow up and call me the next morning; no call. I called, and reminded him of his promise and his response was "well, it's still morning somewhere". I brought my chainsaw in for much needed service. They told me it would take 3 weeks for repair, which seemed long, but I really needed the work done. They called me a few days before the due date to tell me it was ready. I was very happy with the service. The price was reasonable. I dealt with a man named Tim at this location, calls himself a manager. I brought two generators into him to be serviced. They quoted me $140. They kept my generators for two weeks without notifying me what they were doing, and yesterday I called to pick them up and they said it'd be ready at the end of the day and they weren't. Called again today and they said they were ready. So I went down to pick him up and he gave me a bill for $270. Twice as much as what he quoted me and when I told him that was unacceptable he got mad and said he had a lot of money in parts into it, so I told him to give me a list of the parts and prices and he couldn't come up with it he just said I'll just charge you $170. Also when I got my paperwork home I saw that part's only added up to $9. Be aware if you were a Jensen & pilegard client because he is nothing like them... he's a shyster, a liar and a Madman. Make sure he writes you an estimate out instead of having to leave your checkbook open for whatever he decides at the end of the day!!! read more

Brought in an Echo leaf blower. They had to order some parts, backordered. Not their fault. I call periodically, finally they said the parts came in and it's finally done. It's been 2 whole months, I've had to call them everytime to get updates. I told them "Great! I'll come and get it today!" I arrive to pick it up and I have to wait a half hour. I'm positive they were fixing it right then. Guy fires up the leaf blower to show that it works. Cool. I get home and try it out, it runs like crap. Same gas, haven't touched the carb. So I start tweaking the carb and get it to run a little better. Still had to fight to keep it running. Discouraged and disappointed, I park it for a month. Next time I try it, it runs terribly for a few minutes only with the choke on, then dies. Won't run AT ALL. Later, I start researching and the internet suggests it has a air leak in the carb. I pulled the filter off and check the bolts that hold the carb on. THEY WEREN'T EVEN TIGHT! 1/2" gap on one bolt! I spent $97.10, waited 2 months just to have to finish the job myself. Poor communication, not at all timely, questionable workmanship. I don't want to be this negative, but I can't find anything good to say about them. I'm going to find another place for my future equipment service needs. read more
