I am assuming they would not do a very good cleaning with these business standards but was not willing to pay to find out. She basically just brushed us off. We then get the bill and they wrote the same nasty remarks, putting blame again on the customer. When you are being paid for a service, you are not doing a favor. One of the smartest things I did was ask him to write down the specific work his team would perform based on the quoted rate, since I only wanted a partial house cleaning. I was surprised when Cesar showed up by himself that day without any helpers, as this job typically requires two people and usually takes 1-2 hours. Even more surprising was that he tried to choose which tasks he wanted to complete and skipped many essential ones. For example, he neglected to clean the shower pan until I pointed it out, cleaned the bedroom, but didn't do any dusting, and didn't remove the small floor mats while cleaning the floors. He insisted he would only clean the laminated floor and not the tile floor until I showed him the contract, which stated that all floors were included. There were many other issues with his cleaning, leading to a long list of concerns. Eventually, he admitted that he only supervises workers now and hasn't done any cleaning himself for several years. His workers were busy in Palo Alto and Cupertino, which made me feel like my house in the East Bay was not good enough for him. It felt as if he thought he could just come over, do a lackluster job, and waste my time under the guise of 'supervision.' I attempted to give him a second chance by requesting his workers to come over this time, but he never replied to my text messages.
