We came here having moderate expectations and hopes of a much needed 24hour break. What an amazing place. We just fell in love with the lovely old building, pretty rooms, snug bar and outstanding restaurant. We have had the best time, best company, best fun, best food and service plus we get to stay over and have a slap-up breakfast. I think this may become our bolt hole on a regular basis. If you're a foodie like us, the 5-course tasting menu is a must and the reasonably priced wine flight is a no-brainer. The Moonraker is a superb example of a quintessentially English hotel, run with love and a passion for great food and seasonal ingredients. A must visit! read more
