This repair involved not only repairing a large rip, but also unstitching and restitching 16 panels in the skirt and hemming multiple layers of fabric (they moved part of the bottom border to the part of the skirt with the rip to cover it). My skirt had a complicated pattern and was a delicate material, so all of this had to be very carefully and expertly done. My skirt came out looking better than I could have imagined - they are so skillful. The work is very high-quality and at a fair price. Drop-off and pick-up is on Saturdays (limited hours) in downtown Decatur or you can coordinate via text with Barwin to pick up at their home. I'm definitely willing to make the time in my Saturday schedule to go to them because they are that good at what they do. I really didn't know exactly what I was looking for to start but lucky me, they made it so easy. I don't love having to go into stores (because of traffic and I'm a tired girl lol) or having to simply guess and order over the phone as some trophy stores expect. They make it so easy by offering up all their options online, allowing you to order in store, over the phone or online. Score. I was able to browse through all of the options and came across the perfect design. It's been a few years since I've purchased a trophy so I didn't know what to expect as far as pricing but I was so blown away that I walked out with 5 lines of engraving + rush time and didn't spend over $80. I received proofs back within 30min of submitting my order! I made a revision to a line I previously submitted and the revisions were back within minutes. Incredible turnaround time. I was waiting around for an email/call telling me it was done and was so worried it wouldn't be ready in time. When I called (about 7 days after my initial order) hoping and praying that it was ready, I overheard the team member I spoke to (who was a sweetheart) say to another coworker that it had been ready for like 5 days lol. Oops. I don't believe I did, but maybe I missed an kind of "ready for pickup" communication? But who cares, I was more focused on the fact that it had been finished so quickly! :) Pickup was super easy, every employee I spoke to was incredibly helpful and patient as well. They have two pickup locations and I picked up at the Midtown location. Located in a plaza with restaurants and a few other businesses, there's lots of parking and it was a quick process. In practice, walking into this place felt less like entering a repair shop and more like stumbling into the afterlife of luggage. Maybe there is a system hidden somewhere in the chaos, but the only places I have seen with comparable levels of clutter were antique stores, thrift shops, and the occasional junkyard. If your suitcase has ever wondered what comes after baggage claim, apparently this is it. The storefront is also easy to miss. The sign mainly advertises leather and shoe repair, with luggage repair seeming like a last-minute footnote. For reference, it is on the left side of the grocery store, near the end of the strip, on the corner. Helpful, because the sign is not exactly doing the heavy lifting. When I dropped off my bag, I explained the issue and the owner made a noise that strongly suggested he had already seen this movie and knew how it ended. His official response was, "we will see what they say." Sure enough, within 2-3 days I got notice that Samsonite would not cover the repair. That meant driving back out to Sandy Springs before the 14-day deadline so my suitcase would not be discarded. I cannot prove anything improper, but I definitely left with the impression that the inspection outcome was not exactly a suspense thriller. Picking up the bag was its own experience. The two employees had trouble locating it, which was not especially reassuring given the sheer volume of items stacked everywhere. I was one suggestion away from joining the search party myself. The whole scene felt like a hoarder's garage sale with a repair counter. While I was there, another customer was picking up shoes and did not sound especially thrilled with either the wait or the quality. From what I understand, this business used to be owned by someone else and operated from a different location. The previous owners retired, and based on both reputation and my experience, the service seems to have gone downhill under the current management.

They right off their customers and instantly say they longer want to do business with you. They talk down on and belittle the customers they do wrong and deliberately flip the story to make thier paying customers seem like their at fault. Instead of providing the proper service and being an example in the community. It's They've had my items for almost 3 months I've paid over $500 and they have yet to send my items and they refused to give my money back for the embroidery and digitizing of the graphic photo on the back of the line jacket. With the lack of service and communication alone, I wouldn't recommend this company to any Greek Organization. The incident: March 11th 2023 I placed an order over $500 with a digitized image and it's now May & I've yet to receive what I paid for. The crossing jacket along with the embroidering on both arms front and back and picture and $280 digitizing fee " as stated in their Police" is None refundable because they garentee customer satisfactory. I asked that they fix the color on the lips which wasn't like the original photo and they changed it to a dark red and made them look like Ape lips. I then asked that they make the lips look like the original and they changed them yet again. After calling for days / weeks on end someone finally called me back but only after I said I'd report them to the Better Business Bureau. Speaking to her on the phone she said that they could not do ask I requested and also could not fix the chest of the picture and asked if I could do it myself and send it to them. Which makes no since, I paid $280 for them to do so. Then she hung up and said we lost connection and it was back to no replies and none answering if the phone. They continued this for a long time until I made my first post on Google. Then they started to act oblivious about what was going on. I continued to email them about the situation as well. Because of the post I've made ok here they finally emailed me but said I was treating them by asking for my money back for services on a product that I did not receive. And said they would give me my money back " even through they don't have to!" If I take my reviews down. I refused because I feel people should know how they handle and bully their customers after they pay their money. I'm stilllllll currently trying to get my money back from the situation. It's disheartening how a company with over 20 years of service no longer carries themselves with respect nor have respect for those who keep them in business. **Sure I'll edit it and this is how they get you 100% accuracy return policy.. which is the accurate at all because I did not like the graphic designers monkey lips or coloring that they kept trying to force on me and so finally I just asked for the #1 on the back of my jacket and they agree but they won't refund me my money for the digitizing because I'm not getting an image after all of this in almost 3 months of waiting. "Custom Order Cancellations Please note: You can request as many changes as you want until you are happy with the way your custom item looks. Therefore, there is usually no reason for cancellation. Changes are free of charge, as long as they are within the original amount that you paid, and as long as you have not yet approved." And I wasn't happy at all and clearly told him I wasn't happy and asked several times before I send the "APPROVE" for the #1 to get a refund for the services not rendered. They essentially ruined the entire bag and won't even refund the charge for the monogramming. When we called the lady said she couldn't do anything and then hung up on us. I highly recommend you avoid this business. Update: After posting reviews, we were contacted by Chantal, who was very friendly and willing to work to fix the problem. She refunded the money for the monogramming, and they were able to take the stitching out of one side and re-do it on the other side. You can still see where the stitching was on the wrong side from the inside of the bag, but it's not too noticeable from the outside, which is all that mattered to me. Chantal also followed up several times to make sure that things were resolved.
