Cannot recommend Chris enough! Had him over at my house yesterday after a plumber came over to remove a lifted tile in my house and uncovered mold. The plumber said they wouldn't do any work until it was removed, that's where I called Chris. He was extremely knowledgeable and really spent a good amount of time investigating the issue. Chris was instrumental in verifying that there was no residual mold after I had to have remediation in two areas.. He's very honest, letting me know it would be less expensive for me if he only came once both areas had been completely treated. I assumed they needed to be done asap. I dont know why, lol. I had two areas treated over a five day period, as once the first one was started, more mold was discovered a couple days later. Chris was very friendly and professional. Second to none, period. Chris (THE Mold Detective!) is everything you can hope for when you are dealing with anything related to allergens, mold and other irritants in your home. He is honest as the day is long, knowledgeable, thorough, punctual, makes every effort to get to your home as soon as possible and has better fees than other inspectors I've dealt with. He goes above and beyond every step of the way and I sincerely can't recommend him highly enough. What do you do when you find out your bathroom is the nastiest not so little petri dish of a mess you've ever encountered in all your years of home improvement? DITCH AND RUN BEYOCH DITCH AND RUN!!! Ok so what do you do after a few years of heat nuking the totally stripped down (as in to the studs friends) remained of the bathroom and you're finally forced to address the issue and make the place habitable again? Well hopefully this means you contact a mold remediation company liek I did and then verified their work with this guy- seriously the hottest looking mold nerd I EVER did see and lust after once he left lol. Yes he had to leave before I could mention that to my inner diva, kids are no joke I gotta be dead down there just to survive this place with a healthy family under wing. And I had this work done like months ago so now you know how long it takes to even talk like this about someone in a totally removed venue. Hormones aside Chris was super courteous and super nice, and actually turned down my job due to project timelines the first time I called. Yes, thats right kids, this guy said itd be irresponsible to do a testing (even though he was pretty sure itd come out clean he knew the company I went through) so quick after my remediation had been completed and asked if I could call him back in a few days so he could get a better understanding of how thorough my remediation was. He explained the entire process patiently and even dumbed things down when I needed him to (DONT JUDGE ME im continually under the influence of two year olds) and let me know he most definitely would like my business when it was morally appropriate. Who talks like that in Vegas? THIS GUY. Hot, employed, and moral- how does this dude survive here in our delightful slice of paradise? My report came back as expected within the time he said it would though he had additional options I could pay for to expedite my testing results. Totally on the up and up, on the level and by the books, and any other dated way of saying he's a hard working individual who completes his well executed procedures of testing as efficiently as possible. Holds himself up as a real professional and he does not fail expectations of forthrightness and personal attention to details. Oh and he had no issue taking a huge stack of singles to bankroll the whole shabang! Yay him! I hope to NEVER have to use his services again. Hawt as shinolie or not it wasnt a pleasant time to be receiving those kinds of guests- my cheap little heart was already broken after the remediation and I still had the rebuild to look "forward" to. If you want an honest test done on your home give this guy a call and support your local small business owner. If you're looking to buy someone off to get legal clearance I wouldnt be surprised if he might consider reporting you.
