I don't normally write reviews but this one was extremely deserving. Chris came out quickly to inspect the mold found in my apartment. The turn around was only 72 hours (his most affordable option). I was pretty upset when I initially found the mold + the cost of inspection. HOWEVER, I am glad I did it and would've paid more after seeing his thorough report. Thank you Chris!! read more

We needed a mold inspection for a clients daughter that lived in Las Vegas. The moment I called The Mold Detectives Chris, he was very informative, professional and available on the day we needed the inspection. Chris was early and explained the process from start to finish to our client. He called for a follow up with the results and his recommendations, with the report of the findings to follow. Top notch service!! Highly recommended. Thank you Chris we appreciate you! 911 Hazmat Cleanup California! read more

Cannot recommend Chris enough! Had him over at my house yesterday after a plumber came over to remove a lifted tile in my house and uncovered mold. The plumber said they wouldn't do any work until it was removed, that's where I called Chris. He was extremely knowledgeable and really spent a good amount of time investigating the issue. Turns out, I may not have mold at all but he sent in a sample for testing for me. Chris is an absolute please to have over and wealth of knowledge when it comes to moisture within a home. Anytime I encounter someone with his needs, I will give them his number. Thank you Chris!! read more

Chris was instrumental in verifying that there was no residual mold after I had to have remediation in two areas.. He's very honest, letting me know it would be less expensive for me if he only came once both areas had been completely treated. I assumed they needed to be done asap. I dont know why, lol. I had two areas treated over a five day period, as once the first one was started, more mold was discovered a couple days later. Chris was very friendly and professional. He supplied a thorough report for me. I'll definitely need this to verify all is fine when I'm ready to sell the property. Communication was great and all my questions were thoroughly addressed. I highly recommend The Mold Detectives if you need their services. read more

Chris came out and did a great job for me. A very nice guy and very professional at what he does. Also I must mention that he was very patient explaining me all the process and actually everything was done pretty fast. Will definitely work with Chris again in the future. Thanks Chris read more

I referred my friend to you guys and she's called twice with no return phone call. A way to email inquiry would be nice. It's important to be responsive.... I'll change my rating if she gets some communication - even on the weekend, you're running a business. read more

We moved into a new house and found what we thought was a huge mold problem under the kitchen sink. Chris came out to collect samples, take pictures and provide direction on next steps. I had never experienced this type of issue before so I was grateful for his expertise and recommendations. read more

Do not hesitate to call Chris and hire him. This is my second review (after rehiring him for another job) because well, he deserves it. Super Professional, knowledgeable, responsive and punctual. And most importantly, after dealing with him, you can tell he is good person and demonstrates he actually cares about his clients. You also get a feel he really has an interest in what he does. He will not rush you at all, will answer all your questions, and always treat you with respect; all of this is very rare in today's world. So make the call, you will be in good, reputable and honest hands in a sector known for the opposite. read more

Second to none, period. Chris (THE Mold Detective!) is everything you can hope for when you are dealing with anything related to allergens, mold and other irritants in your home. He is honest as the day is long, knowledgeable, thorough, punctual, makes every effort to get to your home as soon as possible and has better fees than other inspectors I've dealt with. He goes above and beyond every step of the way and I sincerely can't recommend him highly enough. BTW, did I mention how honest he is? :) It's worth mentioning twice because unless you are an expert all the stuff that can affect your health and the enjoyment of your home you can easily get taken advantage of. Chris won't do that. I'm sure of it. read more

When Chris M. came to our house we didn't know what to do... Where to starts Chris was professional, answer all our question and refer us to the right people to correct our situation. He is really the guy you want by your side when you have to deal with mold! Thank you Chris! read more

Love the Mold Detectives, but Maria Flores is extremely rude. I didn't appreciate her attitude at all.

Chris is terrific. On time, prepared, knowledgeable, personable, and compassionate. I was reassured about the mold issue in our property and definitely felt that he knew what he was talking about, and was not leading me astray in any way. He also clearly was not trying to gouge me on price. I believe he is one of a kind. You can trust his expertise and integrity. If you suspect that you have a problem like mold, then you know that you need someone just like that. read more

Quick, friendly, expert advice, and honest! I've had to deal with other services that add on more and more fees and charges just to take advantage and they take their time, but Mold Detectives is the opposite. They are fair and efficient. I would absolutely recommend!!! read more

I used them once and they were very honest and professional. Everything I would have looked for in an inspector. Didn't try to sell anything, in fact told me how to save money on things. Hopefully will never need their services again, but if I do they will be the one to call. read more

Chris' company is the absolute best! Chris was prompt, professional, polite, pleasant, and patient. He always took the time to answer any question I had, and he always returned my calls. In addition, Chris is transparent, honest, and fair with his pricing and services. All businesses should have these attributes. I hope you will never have to experience mold in your home; but if you ever do, I would unhesitatingly recommend that you give Chris a call. He will make a stressful situation less stressful. Chris is thorough and always follows through with what he says he will do. If you appreciate a business with integrity and quality of service, don't look for any other mold company. Chris is the sole proprietor, and truly a gem! read more

What do you do when you find out your bathroom is the nastiest not so little petri dish of a mess you've ever encountered in all your years of home improvement? DITCH AND RUN BEYOCH DITCH AND RUN!!! Ok so what do you do after a few years of heat nuking the totally stripped down (as in to the studs friends) remained of the bathroom and you're finally forced to address the issue and make the place habitable again? Well hopefully this means you contact a mold remediation company liek I did and then verified their work with this guy- seriously the hottest looking mold nerd I EVER did see and lust after once he left lol. Yes he had to leave before I could mention that to my inner diva, kids are no joke I gotta be dead down there just to survive this place with a healthy family under wing. And I had this work done like months ago so now you know how long it takes to even talk like this about someone in a totally removed venue. Hormones aside Chris was super courteous and super nice, and actually turned down my job due to project timelines the first time I called. Yes, thats right kids, this guy said itd be irresponsible to do a testing (even though he was pretty sure itd come out clean he knew the company I went through) so quick after my remediation had been completed and asked if I could call him back in a few days so he could get a better understanding of how thorough my remediation was. He explained the entire process patiently and even dumbed things down when I needed him to (DONT JUDGE ME im continually under the influence of two year olds) and let me know he most definitely would like my business when it was morally appropriate. Who talks like that in Vegas? THIS GUY. Hot, employed, and moral- how does this dude survive here in our delightful slice of paradise? My report came back as expected within the time he said it would though he had additional options I could pay for to expedite my testing results. Totally on the up and up, on the level and by the books, and any other dated way of saying he's a hard working individual who completes his well executed procedures of testing as efficiently as possible. Holds himself up as a real professional and he does not fail expectations of forthrightness and personal attention to details. Oh and he had no issue taking a huge stack of singles to bankroll the whole shabang! Yay him! I hope to NEVER have to use his services again. Hawt as shinolie or not it wasnt a pleasant time to be receiving those kinds of guests- my cheap little heart was already broken after the remediation and I still had the rebuild to look "forward" to. If you want an honest test done on your home give this guy a call and support your local small business owner. If you're looking to buy someone off to get legal clearance I wouldnt be surprised if he might consider reporting you. Restored my belief in the everyday business man here in Vegas, and thats not an easy thing to do. again- YAAAAY HIM! read more

If you think you've got a mold problem in your home I recommend Chris from The Mold Detectives. He's honest, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Had some mold under my kitchen sink, decided to call Chris M with the The Mold Detectives. Chris was spot on professional. Came in my home and calmed the whole situation down like a boss. He walked me through the entire process as I am a mold dummy. I had so many questions, as he explained everything to me in great detail. I didn't feel as bad when he left as I did before. I think that is how all service businesses should be ran. He recommended a company to do my remediation and then I will use his services again to perform my final testing. I cant say enough good things about how I was treated in this emergency situation. Its good to know that there are still good companies like The Mold Detectives that understand the situation, provide good service, and not try and price gouge or up sell. My hat goes off to Chris and I will always recommend The Mold Detectives to anyone who my encounter an ugly situation such as mold. read more
