I've worked with Dawn now 2 times and found her expertise, help, and cost savings initiatives for my clients to be outstanding. I am a mortgage broker in AZ so many manufactured homes need an Engineering Certificate in order to close. Dawn goes above and beyond to help do all the work UP FRONT in order to provide an accurate quote for the cost as well as a full explanation of what is involved. I highly recommend Desert Property Inspection Services! read more

Did everything that I would expect and more from a home inspector. Detailed and worth the money. read more

Very professional and informative we received a very detailed report and he was even kind enough to go through and explain everything to us.

This was the easiest service to book while I was purchasing my home in Kingman, Az. They were fast to respond to my realtor's request, as well as delivering their report to my inbox. I'm a transfer to Arizona, and don't know anyone I can trust other than the professionals we've been using- realtor, inspector, etc. I'm relying on them to make sure I don't end up you know what creek without a paddle. I feel that the picture proof my inspector sent, coupled with his detailed report, was well worth the money spent to assure my peace of mind. Thank you, DPI for all you did for me!! Im feeling great about my new home because of you! read more

They were on time, did a through inspection and provided a detailed report the same day!

I hired them when I bought my home. The guy showed up and did his job, but never pointed out the glaring issues. The newly renovated bathroom went from having a tub to a shower, I wasn't aware of this because I didn't know where else to find out. If it wasn't permitted, I would have no idea. Well, the person we bought the home from was a self-proclaimed flipper (I think he should find another profession. Anyway after we moved in within the first month my daughter would take a shower and down the hall way there was new lake forming. After endless calls to speak with the inspector Chris, his manager asked me why I was calling and so I wrote her a list of things and or questions, once i provided the list, suddenly when i would call to follow up on a date to discuss with the manager and inspector, and the receptionist would just disconnect my call, then I believe they blocked me so I was never able to ask the questions. I believe he knew he did something wrong that is why I never heard from them', in closing I would never hire them just because of what they did to me. I was a first time home buyer and i hired them to know all these things, much like the flipper took out a window that was low and we could get out of if there were a God Forbid fire and put up a long skinny window that no one can get out of. I didn't realize that. he should have pointed it out. CALL SOMEONE ELSE. I will say I did hire them a couple of years ago but their name came up with I was searching for something else. But the update is all of my flooring is lifted on all the corners and I actually trip on the lifted part from all the water damage. The new shower plumbing below the drain wasn't connected. So when anyone took a shower the water would just flow out instead of down. Lovely. The window I spoke about is in the master bedroom All these things should have been at least noted, being that they are hired by the potential buyer we need the looking out for us, no dooming us. Thank you for a first time buyer trauma. read more

This company is DISHONEST! They messed up my AC by flipping it back and forth to heater mode. Then he pulled our stove out and either broke one of the legs or just knocked it all out of level. They are supposed to leave everything in the same condition and location as they found it! When I contacted them they told me to fix it myself and "It will take 10 seconds" They refused to except responsibility. Why did they even pull out my stove, it's ELECTRIC. It would take a whole page to explain some of the dumn call outs they logged on my home. The guy even referred to the Swamp Cooler platform on the roof as a "Chimney" that needed repair. These guys lack accountability, professionalism, and overall knowledge. Whoever responded to me on the email was arrogant, disrespectful, unprofessional, and preys on Senior Citizens. DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS ! read more

On the advice of our realtor, Diane Pherigo, we contacted Desert Property Inspection Services to conduct an inspection of a home we are purchasing. I called the company on the 23d of December, as it is the Christmas and New Year holiday's, I was expecting this would be a bit delayed. However, despite that very busy time of year, they were able to get someone to the house on New Year's Eve. I really couldn't ask for better response and service. I met the inspector, Randy Dimitz, at the house on the 31st, toward the end of the inspection which was about 2pm. He went through the entire inspection with me and made sure I understood what he had found. Considering that it was New Year's Eve and most people would want to get out quickly and start the holiday, he did not try and hurry his report along. I was very pleased with his demeanor and professionalism. Outstanding service and a very thorough inspection. They come highly recommended from us. Thank You and Happy New Year. read more

Desert Property Inspections responded to my question via Yelp app almost immediately. I received a thorough answer and felt confident with their service prior to putting an offer on a house. When the time came, they had a spot open up within the week and showed up on time. They conducted the inspection in a professional manner and I received my very thorough report by lunch time! I would highly recommend Desert property inspections. The best part, they also do Pest Inspections and offer the ability to purchase a home warranty. Great value for the service! read more

This home inspection company is the worst. They requests payment before you check the qualify the job. They takes only credit card payments. They didn't take payments on escrow closing like all inspection company do. I would not recommend them, will never use them again. This business not at BBB. most likely all reviews are fake. Unfortunately because of COVID I wasn't able to meet with anyone or personally speak with anyone, but the emails that were sent out were very informative. I was expecting the inspection to happen at 3pm and by 1pm they already went and had my report available!
