Pesty Pest Control has been spraying both my house and restaurant for years. I scheduled an appointment...had my husband and stay home and a tech never showed. I called them and they apologized, offered me $10 off and rescheduled a tech to come out. They came out and would not accept payment from my husband. The tech said we would receive a call for payment. A few days go by and we hadn't received a call, so we called them and tried to pay. No one answered and we left a message. About a month and a half later, we receive an EMBARRASSING post card saying our account is past due! This infuriates me because we TRIED to pay your company (multiple times) and you make it so hard and never returned our call! Now I get that post card posted on my door for my entire neigh or good to see. So embarrassing. And not to mention... I was STILL seeing tiny bugs around my house. So... it was just a huge waste of our time on BOTH occasions with a failed attempt to repel bugs! I would NOT recommend this company. I've since been referred by the locals to Blue Moon. read more

We were in escrow to buy a home in Kingman and our inspection window was closing tomorrow. We had reason to suspect the home might have bedbugs (saw a box of bedbug spray in the garage during the regular home inspection). The sellers flatly denied there were bedbugs in the home and agreed to allow an inspection. My realtor contacted Michael at Pesty Pest Control, explained the situation so that he was aware the sellers may have thoroughly cleaned any obvious evidence. Michael assured her that if bedbugs were present, no amount of cleaning would keep him from finding them. He showed up at the property within a couple of hours and found two live bedbugs in one of the bedrooms. The inspection was free. If you know anything at all about bedbugs, you do not want to deal with them. I suspect the sellers were probably frantic to sell and move out to get away from them; they are a nightmare to get rid of, their bites leave painful welts, and their casings and excrement present histamine into the atmosphere of a home. Do a Google search if you don't know about them. First, I recommend that anyone renting or buying a new place get a free inspection before finalizing the decision. If we had contacted Pesty Pest Control right off the bat, we wouldn't be out $460 for the general home inspection (the realtor showed the inspector the bedbug spray and he said he didn't see any signs of them). When we do find a home to buy in Kingman, we will definitely hire Pesty Pest Control for regular treatments. They saved us a horror story. One more thing before I close my little rant here - the sellers were planning to have a yard sale tomorrow. Just a word to the wise - you never know what you're really getting at a yard sale... read more
