Not impressed. We got sandwiches take-away, and they were just not very good. Stopped here after the ferry ride and before we took the steam train to Fort William. We had 45 minutes, and we thought some hot sandwiches would be better than cold food from the market. They were out of panini's (for which we'd asked) but did toasties (I'm assuming the bread is different - otherwise they seemed the same). I opted for the special roast beef roll and wish I hadn't. It had flavorless horseradish sauce, and the roast beef was on par with week old leftover roast. Terrible. The family was also not impressed with the toasties (ham and cheese, and chicken). "Just ok". They seemed to be out of lots of stuff. I can understand being out of some breakfast breads (they were out of a lot), but at 1:00 pm I'd think they would have their sandwiches.
It may be good for coffee (as in other review), but if you're looking for a quick bite before the ferry or train I'd look elsewhere. read more
