Bog Myrtle Café feels like stepping into the coziest corner of Scotland. The room is filled with books, flowers, and soft light from mismatched lamps, and every table looks like it was set by someone's sweet, artsy grandmother.
The food was the highlight. The bacon and egg sourdough waffles were crisp and flavorful, and the cheddar chive scone was warm, flaky, and outrageously good. You can tell they actually care about what comes out of the kitchen.
The coffee, though, didn't quite live up to the rest. My cappuccino lost its foam almost instantly, and the americano tasted more like basic drip coffee. Not terrible, just underwhelming compared to everything else.
