Really enjoyable meal here- my daughter and I shared a large side salad, cheesy garlic bread and a pizza and it all was very good. Salad was dressed in a vinaigrette and was full of healthy greens. Pizza was with a thin crust and perfect size for sharing with the other things we ordered. The staff worked so well together and it was a great place to end a lovely day on Skye. read more

Nice, low-key restaurant focusing on pizza in Broadford, where it's otherwise often hard to find food that's good and not very fancy. We came here for dinner with the kids after a boat trip to Loch Coruisk in Elgol and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant is very low-key and has an almost American restaurant feel. There's less of an expectation of reservations and things just feel a bit more chill. We sat outside, which wasn't the nicest patio/deck, but you could see a mountain in the distance when you weren't looking at the parking lot. The restaurant focused on pizza including having a variety of specials. The pizzas were all good and my son in particular liked the cheese pizza. The only complaint was that it turns out the margarita pizza was also just the cheese pizza. Fortunatley, my son ate almost all of that leaving us to have the more interesting ones. They also had an above average beer list including beers in bottles from two different breweries on Skye as well as better-than-expected beer from other Islands. I hadn't ever had any beer from Cuillin Brewery before and enjoyed the Pinnacle Ale and the Skull Splitter scotch ale from Orkney Brewery was very good. read more

We learned the hard way on our first night in Isle of Skye that you may have a hard time getting dinner if you don't have a reservation somewhere. Well in comes Cafe Sia and their yummy pizza and salads served lightning fast. The food was solid and the service was decent for a tourist area. It's family friendly and can be a bit loud inside but the overall experience and filling a gap in what is needed on the island is worth five stars for sure! read more

We wanted to stop in for breakfast and with cafe being in their name we assumed they would have breakfast, WRONG, so we had lunch instead. I had a steak sandwich, which was one of the daily specials. I thought it had some great flavor and a fair amount of steak. My wife had one of the other specials for the day, she said it was dry and not exciting at all. She did say the little side couscous was delicious. Had we known it was going to be so pricey, compared to everything else on our trip, we might have considered eating elsewhere. Eating on Isle of Skye is "eventful". Some places don't take reservations, others require one or you don't get in. Cafesia bailed us out after not getting seated at two other restaurants. Great food, great pizza, nice selection of drinks and priced decently. Highly recommend. We were fortunate to end up here as it turned out. read more

i absolutely loved this place!!! was very busy but the service was super quick even though there were only two young kids working as servers! i had the pizza which seemed to be a bit of a specialty there and it was seriously one of the best pizza's i've ever had. no joke. 20/10 if i could!! read more

It was a blessing that we had to wait at the bus stop for 3 hours or we might not have stopped at this place. We were here early in the morning waiting for the bus when we were told that there was a massive car accident so no one could go from Broadford to Portree. We decided to have coffee. We ordered a flat white, a latte, a cappuccino, and 2 hot cocoas. By far, this place has the BEST coffee in Scotland period! We then noticed that this place was opened until 9:30pm and they also served wood fired pizza. We went around the south side of the Isle of Skye and started to get hungry. No places were opened on that side and every other place was either closed or not open until 5pm and it was 3pm. We ended up driving back to this place just to try it. Even though the restaurant was packed, we only waited maybe 10 minutes. There are 7 of us and we ordered: 3 Sia margarita pizzas, 1 spinach/pepperoni, 1 Sia Formaggio, 1 Glasrach pizzas and 1 pasta salad. There are 5 meat eaters and 2 vegetarians and this place made everyone full and happy. The must have orders: coffee milkshake (yes it's crazy amazing), any of the pizzas mentioned above, the side salads and the latte. This cafe has seating inside and outside. The views are amazing. The staff is friendly. The restrooms are very clean. The price is reasonable. If you are ever in Broadford, you MUST stop and eat here or at the very least get a coffee to go. read more

We stopped in on our way back off the island for a quick cup of coffee and a wee snack. I ordered a latte and my friends ordered espresso. I also ordered sweet potato chips. The coffees actually came out after the food, but they were very good. In fact, I'd say this was the best coffee we found on Skye. The chips were nice too. Their menu clearly labelled gluten-free and vegetarian options - that said, there's very little for gluten-free eaters, especially after breakfast. I saw some plates go by and the food looked really nice. It's a great place to take a break and get off the road for a little while! read more

This was a cute spot right next to our hotel on the isle of Skye. We stopped in for lunch before leaving the isle. What is really cool is that they have a wood fired oven, which I wasn't expecting to find in such a remote location. The entire menu looked delicious and the special board had at least 10 other delicious options as well. I ordered the special of the day pizza which was bacon egg and sausage. Kind of like breakfast on a pizza. What more could you ask for ! My parents ordered the catch of the day pizza which was an assortment of seafood and fresh fish as well as some anchovies. Both pizzas were thin and crispy which a beautiful crust. And they both tasted amazing ! We also shared a Mac and cheese which wasn't my favourite because it was a bit too watery for my taste and seemed like the cheese was just put on top of a creamy macaroni rather than mixed together. However, it came with these amazing chips that we dunked into the macaroni and cheese and that made up for the lack of thickness. We ended the great lunch with some coffees to go which put a great exclamation mark on a already great lunch. Prices are very reasonable also. read more

The people here ate great! We were trying to decide if we had enough time to see a particular thing before sunset and the owner saw I looked a little conflicted and toon the time to sit and talk to me about it until I was settled. He then popped by twice just to say hi after while we waited for our food. The pizza is amazing! All fresh and delicious and the price is great! This pizza is just fantastic and I'm fro. Try the mac and cheese, it is amazing!!! We also had the mini burgers and pizza that were also good, but nothing compared to the mac and cheese. The waitstaff was nice, but there was some delay with getting our food as they were pretty busy that day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a private parking lot. Stopped by for dinner (and dessert!) after a day of venturing around Skye. My friends ordered various dishes including Cafesia's pizza, sweet potato fries, and I ordered their lasagna. The lasagna dish was filling, and I enjoyed the flavors. I tried my friend's sweet potato fries, and they were delish as well! They were thickly cut, not over-seasoned, and just tasted clean/healthy. Overall, the food was good.. but the real reason to come here is the ice-cream! Unfortunately, they were out of the homemade ice-cream when we visited, so we ordered their strawberry ice-cream. Although it wasn't "homemade", it tasted bomb and tasted like it was homemade. read more

We ordered the Italian salad, pepperoni pizza and dough balls. Based on previous reviews, we also had to have a macchiato. Amazing Toffie and amazing food! We wish we weren't just passing through it so we could come back. Service in Scotland is just slower. We went this past week to Skye and ended up trying a number of the eateries in Broadford. This place is more affordable then other eateries, offering pizzas, salad, soup and an array of sides for dinner. The pizza was nice and we received our food very quickly. I ordered a side salad, which was huge and was a nice addition to the giant, cheesy pizza. The only thing was the crust tasted a bit different to normal, my partner thought maybe we were served the GF one, but it still tasted OK. We didn't get to try the coffee as the machine was off, but we tried the local ice-cream from Portree for dessert, which was very nice. For four people are bill was £50, and they do have free Wi-Fi. I would recommend this place if you are trying to each more on a budget and are keen to share some pizzas. The service was fine and the cafe is very neat and tidy. read more

This place is great! After a ridiculously beautiful, but long, hike we wanted to relax with good food and beer. Cafesia has both! Local microbrews and wood fired pizza was exactly what we wanted. Best food I've had since arriving in Scotland 6 days ago. The service is a bit slow, but in my opinion it's well worth the wait. This place is especially great if you have food allergies. I was able to get a gluten free, vegan margarita pizza that tasted really good! They also have amazing teas! Atmosphere, food, costs all great!! read more

We had a less than enjoyable experience here unfortunately. We arrived at 11:30am to techno music playing in the restaurant and breakfast food being served. We decided to stay until 12 in order to be able to order lunch. We gave her our order at 11:45pm and she advised she couldn't put it in until 12, which we were thinking would be fine as we would be the first order in (three other seated tables there and they were eating breakfast). We ordered a salad which we got at 12:15p... it took 15 minutes for them to make a salad. Got our meals a little after 12:30pm, and the meals were blah! I ate one slice of my pizza and couldn't stomach any more of it. I was so hopeful with the great reviews of this place. Also, we were seated near the kitchen and could hear the cook complaining... not really the experience we were looking for. We made it out of this place well after 1pm because it took forever to get the bill. Really wanted to spend less time in a restaurant and more time enjoying the scenery. Lesson learned. read more
