I came in to Manuela's on my way out of the area to get some breakfast. It's one of the few food shops near Eilean Donan castle. They don't have coffee (just down the road is a great place, right next to the bridge) but they do have awesome baked goods. It's a small storefront attached to the bakery itself, and it smells absolutely amazing. There's also a beautiful outdoor eating area looking towards the mountains. The owner and baker are both super nice.
I tried a ham & pineapple pizza as well as the cheese roll. I normally hate ham & pineapple, it's anathema to my very being, but this was decent. They have other pizzas too but they hadn't finished baking them yet that day. The cheese roll was also delicious.
I got a peach cookie for the road, which was also ridiculously good. It's more of a tiny fruit tart, but oh my god I could eat a lot of those. There's also an attached B&B (like all places in Scotland), in case you need somewhere to stay as close as possible to sweets. read more
