When I walked in I asked where it was and the security staff told me to go to the 10th floor. You have to walk through the hotel part and go up. It was R&B, Chill POP (is that a thing, don't know how else to describe). There is an outdoor patio area where there was a guy playing live music and people sitting on couches relaxing and watching while enjoying a cocktail. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and certainly didn't want to take up an entire couch and leave that for others that may have larger parties. As soon as I sat down my server came to take my order. While I wasn't really planning to eat, once I looked at the menu the Chicken Nachos were calling my name. Even though I am counting calories, I had to order. Man, when they came out they were huge and so so good. You can order the chicken blackened which I did and man it was great. I just sat and enjoyed my very caloric nachos and a cocktail and just really took it in. I don't live in Terre Haute, I live in Indianapolis, but I spend a ton of time in Terre Haute for work. I then started calling wings, etc. trying to get something resolved. Took till 1030 to get someone on the phone ok so they open at 11. And was told they would call right back. Call them 30 min later still can't tell me anything I then go there at 1130 my original pickup time. And through text message with the GM was told that I had to replace the order pay for it and they would refund it back to me I had to feed people so rather than arguing I did it I was not going to make my company pay for it twice so I went ahead and paid for it being told I was gonna get a refund but they had to do that to be able to make the order. I was told I was gonna get a call for this the same day that it happened. I had to actually call there today to find out what was going on. I was told I'm only getting half of what I paid extra for the second order because of their website screwing up and then not being able to do anything without the general manager there. Not only that but I get a second call from somebody else telling me the exact same thing that I was already told when I called them. This was over $80 order and I left a 20% tip and they didn't have the courtesy to call and inquire why such a large order would be paid for with a 20% tip again I never got a confirmation text or phone call about the order being placed everywhere else, including the other place that I used that I use the same ordering system I got a text message from them. We went with a special coupon card that allowed us to get a free meal with a purchased meal. So we each got our normal dishes: wedge salads with extra ranch and extra bacon, ribeyes, and waffle fries. We also tried the sliders for the first time which was the best part of the meal this time. The salad came out with balsamic glaze which it never has before and the menu doesn't advertise this. The bacon was cold and not the same taste, the ranch was definitely different and not for the better. Then the steaks even had an off taste! They tasted mesquite or something-never like this before. It's just funny it tasted so bad when we had a freebie but wonderful all the other times. Surely they wouldn't do that on purpose? Because making the food worse won't get customers to return. Anyways, with the price as high as it is, this last time just ruined our thoughts of this place sadly. (This was March 28, 2025-a late anniversary meal).
