Beef taco, blackened cod taco, fried chicken taco & carnitas taco

Awesome food truck our friends brought us to. Outdoor covered patio seating and a menu filled with options for any diet type/kids options. Nothing really beats eating great Mexican food outside with nice weather. This will be a stand out meal from our trip to Portland.

I highly recommend the burritos here, the bowls are a great too though I try to eat here a few times a month when I can tho Delicious !

Crispy rice with fried chicken

First time being a patron to this food truck. Interesting menu with Mexican food influences and great reviews on their fried chicken. I ordered the crispy rice with fried chicken and the quesadilla for my girls. We go home, plated and dug in. The positive reviews on the fried chicken were no lie. Really good flavor, moist and crisp. The egg stayed a bit runny even after getting home. The rice, spices, cheese and Mexican influence was great! The quesadilla was also good. It wasn't fried and/or greasy which I appreciate since it was for my girls. The staff was friendly and helpful - we'll be back when craving fried chicken

My family drove into town just to pick up food from The Meddling Lime and bring it back to our camp site!

Have been patronizing The Meddling Lime since they first opened in 2018 - definitely the best food cart to ever occupy the Smile Pod, and so glad they've stuck around! The menu is huge for a food cart, but I rarely deviate from the street tacos. They are so good, it's hard to imagine ordering anything else! I've tried them all and every one of them is amazing, including the unique veggie options. My only bit of feedback - bring back the churros! Staff is super nice and the owner, Josh, is clearly deeply passionate about making amazing food. I have taken my family and friends here many times and never had a bad experience. (Picture is from when we drove into town just to get Meddling Lime and bring it back to our campsite).

Friendly service and delicious burrito! Prepare yourself for a big meal - this burrito is flavorful and loaded. The protein I ordered was braised chicken and it was super moist and perfect.

Newly wrapped truck!

Exceptional! It's like that great to be a one liner. The braised beef chimichanga ::bellisimo - Italian chef kiss gesture:: Knocked it our of the park. Would appreciate to try anything on the menu. They can make vegan/vegetarian option-so just ask! I had the brownie-satisfies the sweet tooth. I would try their other desserts on the next time we visit. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Even better-a blazer fan!

Wow. The crispy rice with fried cauliflower is nothing short of heavenly. Highly suggest and it was so filling that I got two meals out of it! Pro tip: call and order ahead! They had my meal ready in 10 minutes and handed it to me as soon as I arrived, so easy. The staff were friendly and kind.

Worth the hype, quick, friendly, and delicious. We love anywhere that gives dog treats while they wait for their humans food. Rice and beans shown.

I don't know if it's they type of potato but the skin was really off putting. But solid toothsome chips that a splash of vinegar helps a lot. I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

Anytime we go to the Mississippi Marketplace, I always get flautas at Mole Mole. They are a feast for the eyes and palate. These are the best flautas I've had so far in the area. The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.

Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.
