But what has impressed me is the professionalism that all the staff have shown. The saying is really true and reinforced here: one gets what one pays for! I give a two thumbs-up recommendation for both electrolysis (blend and flash) as well as laser treatment, with no side effects like one might read in some of the horror stories for unlicensed treatment centers.

One of the things that I really appreciated is that there is ongoing training that they are having to make sure that they are up to date on new treatments and training on the newest equipment. A while ago, I went to the TMJ Dr./Specialist for jaw pain. The minute I walked in, they all said,…read more"we got a clencher". I was told that I constantly 'clench' my jaw, and that is why I'm sore and have large masseter muscles from constantly squeezing my teeth together as if I was chewing but wasn't. I had no idea that I was doing this. I was given some rubber bands and some exercises to perform, and it did help alleviate the pain. The only problem is that my masseter muscles were extremely large and made my jaw line look abnormal. I was informed by several friends and family that it could be taken care of. Hello Honey Aesthetics! I had an appointment with Ven, and he explained how 'tox' would reduce my masseters and get my jaw line back to my younger age. Mind you, I'm 50, male, and didn't really care, but my wife said to just try it, so I did. Ven was very professional and patient. He answered all of my questions and actually made me feel comfortable. He explained the procedure and how many 'shots' would be needed (6 total, 3 each side in my case) He was very meticulous in designing the treatment and even said to 'clench and feel these marbles as they will be gone'...right...ok... Needless to say - HE WAS RIGHT!. It's been 4 weeks now and what a difference! Yes, I will have a follow-up and may need another round to solidify the results, but WOW! As a skeptic, I will say that I am impressed. I HIGHLY recommend Honey Aesthetics and Ven!

Was treated at the Woodbury location by Natalyia. My…read moreexperience with this provider was ultimately disappointing due to poor communication and unprofessional handling of client concerns. I did not feel properly informed about potential aesthetic changes before treatment, and when I later expressed concerns about the outcome, I felt unheard and dismissed rather than supported. Clear, transparent communication is essential when making decisions about cosmetic procedures, and that standard was not met in my case. Instead of addressing concerns collaboratively, I was told I would no longer be accepted as a client. As a paying patient, I expect professionalism, accountability, and respect, especially when asking reasonable questions about my own treatment. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this provider if you value thorough communication and patient-centered care.

So young, so fresh and so clear clear!…read more I recently started using the Spa Services at Uptown Derm & SkinSpa. I now am addicted. I seriously look at my calendar for my next free weekend for facials and peels!! I won't give you my Aesthetician's name (hey-----her schedule is getting harder and harder for me!) but so far I've talked w/a few of the other Spa staff and all are extremely easy to talk to, no matter what the embarassing breakout could be. I've gone through two peels (vitalize and rejuvanize) and a few microdermabrasions and have never had any issues whatsoever (besides the normal effect of a peel). I notice a huge difference in my wrinkles, poors and elasticity! Even my friends, family and coworkers are impressed and a few go to the Spa now. I highly recommend Uptown Derm & Spa for medical visits and spa treatments over anywhere else.

Fast forward to now, everything has gotten run down and scheduling an appointment is an odd experience now. What really set me off is we had an appointment July 5th and an hour before the appointment the canceled because the doctor was ill and stated they would call us to reschedule, two weeks went by and I spoke to the receptionist that stated they are short staffed and would call me when they see an opening in the schedule. Guess what it's almost August 5th and I have not had any communication with them at all. I called a different clinic that will have better parking, better communication and more locations to choose from.

Every time I visit their office, she enters the room like a ray of sunshine, and she treats me like I'm her only patient. Over time, that personal touch has completely disappeared. Now, it feels like a large, impersonal machine. I see a different provider each visit, and no one stands out. Everyone says the same things and goes through the same motions--like robots. The care feels rushed and disconnected. My recent visit with Dr. Lee was the final straw. She seemed annoyed by my questions and didn't acknowledge my history, even though it's in their system. I left feeling dismissed and frustrated. I've stayed because my records are here, but I won't be back. Bottom line: If you want quick, anonymous care and don't mind seeing someone new every time, this place might work. But if you're looking for personal, consistent care--look elsewhere.
