New Year's Eve
Teresa H.

New Year's Eve celebration! Great venue for the evening. They had buffet stations with charcuterie, shrimp cocktail, pasta station, Indian food, salad station and more. Coffee and desserts included. Cash bar or the VIP pass gets you unlimited drinks. Really nice setup with two cover bands, Radio Gaga and Maggie Speaks.

Not really a concert place, very bad management, very disorganized, bad sound and bad lighting. Its more like a banquet hall.

Modern decor with same size rooms, that said, the King room had a much more comfortable bed/mattress as well the smaller sofa vs chair made for a better lounge experience. Safe and mini fridge were standard with an impressive Gym. Various spa/massage options were available. In the not necessary but cool nevertheless category was a bathroom mirror TV. Also, liked the separate areas for shower and toilet. Another plus was the choice of restaurants attached to the Hotel-Zorba's lounge, Che Gita and Arista Cafe. We only got to try Arista and enjoyed the coffee. They have a good size lounge area with TV and workspace. Parking at their garage is complimentary and there was usually a spot open in the parking area in front of the hotel. Close to the downtown Naperville/West suburbs and about 50 minutes to Fulton market which worked for our trip. Service was friendly and engaged-Kelly helped with making our room change as smooth as possible given they were sold out of our original room type. They also have a car service for rides 10-15 minutes from the Hotel. Overall, solid option for a stay in the West Suburbs.

Everyone went above and beyond to make our day special and prevent us from stressing about a single thing. When we arrived, I needed some dirt stains taken out of my dress before joining cocktail hour. Molly wasted no time getting us a drink and a tray of delicious hors d'oeuvres while she used club soda and a rag to get the stains out as best she could (and it really worked!). The coordinators communicated flawlessly with our vendors to make sure everything went according to plan. Our guests had a wonderful evening as well. We received compliments on the food and bar service and the beautiful venue. I planned my wedding myself without hiring a coordinator and I have no regrets. The venue coordinator, Molly, helped me with so much throughout the process. She was so organized, always responded to my endless emails quickly, and she paid attention to every detail. I cannot thank her enough for helping my dream wedding a reality! She was even able to bring in one of our favorite local beers from Solemn Oath which was very special for us!

All in with a sangria flight (2 choices for each of us) with tip was about $120. This was lunch. The place is beautiful, the flowers, the building, the layout, very nice. Not loud at all, some nice Spanish music was playing at an appropriate volume. Our server Lily was fantastic! My wife really appreciates warm, friendly interactions, and Lily was both, and thoughtful about which dishes came out and when. We weren't overloaded, so things came out hot from the kitchen. Brilliant. We will definitely be back!

We were seated immediately upon arrival and placed our order shortly after. Our waiter recommended 2-3 tapas per person. A quick tip: if you order a paella, order fewer tapas overall as the rice makes it very filling! The standout tapas were the cold Patatas Con Alioli (the garlic in the potato salad was divine), the Vieiras Albariño (scallops were tender and cooked to perfection), and the Calamares A La Plancha (very clean squid, no strong fishy taste). The Solomillos A La Plancha was a unique take on beef tenderloin, though it was ultimately forgettable and the Pollo Al Limón was sadly overcooked and needed more lemon. While we got seated quickly, the dish delivery was very slow and spread out, stretching our total meal to two hours. By the time our Blanco Y Negro dessert arrived, we didn't bother mentioning our missing Queso De Cabra just because we wanted to wrap things up. Another staff member tipped off our waiter about our anniversary, so he congratulated us, took our picture, and brought two glasses of champagne. While a cute moment, we were surprised to be charged for the champagne on our bill afterward. Since I'm not much of a drinker and we already had a pitcher of sangria, we would have declined had we known it wasn't complimentary. Great ambiance and seafood, but watch out for slow food rollout and unexpected charges.

Luckily, the prices didn't seem too high for a matinee but there was a service fee. I got an email for my purchase but the QR code didn't work in the email. Parking for this place was very easy. They have doors opening on both side so it could be confusing to some people. Inside the building is very nice. There is a lot of nostalgia photos and film relating items all over the place. Seats were comfy. It reclining for the legs, and head. Plus it is also heated seats. There is QR code on table to look at your drinks. And if you wanted extra service, there is a button on the front to call your server. Food at this place is always decent but I can tell the different between now and about 10+ years ago. 10+ years ago was great quality, and huge portions. There is an automatic gratuity added to your bill. Our server did let us know ahead of time. I do feel there are pros and cons to this. It is nice to be auto included since Ive had problems in the past trying to read my receipt during the movie. However, the incentive to go above and beyond is little gone. Overall, I am a fan of Hollywood and I am sure I will return in the future.

I highly recommend going here if you are craving a new experience while watching a movie. With that said, the food was alright. It's about what you'd expect quality-wise considering it's a movie place first. If you go for the food and not the experience, you'd be certain to be disappointed. (Not saying that the food is bad, just not worth the price tag attached to it). At the end of the day, I'd recommend this if you want to go for a good movie night date or something with the group. Also, be sure to remember that 18% gratuity is mandatory and already charged on your bill. Also, you must order something to see a movie here, so it's not cheap.
