Based on my south-bound stay, I booked another room for my trip back to Maryland as soon as I got to Florida. On both of my one-night stays, the front desk check-in went off without a hitch and the rooms were clean and comfy. On my first stay, I had time to take advantage of their indoor pool. The pool area was clean and had nice furniture to relax on. The free hot breakfast that was included with the room was super nice. They have a pancake machine (didn't try that) along with some hot dishes like biscuits and gravy, sausage links and scrambled eggs. Also grits, fresh fruit and cereal. The breakfast starts at 6 am so I was only able to take advantage of that one morning. Free hot popcorn in the lobby every evening. In case you're not sold on this place....there is a Buc-ees across the street so you can always go over there to get what you need. It's a wild place, but pretty quiet and nice at 4 am.

There are several restaurants within walking distance (we dined at the Mexican restaurant next door last night) and many others within a short drive. My King room is large and comfortable. The elevator is very much a ride at Universal Studios with a rocky screech landing. But safe overall is kinda funny tho but not. The hallways were clean and well kept. The room was very spacious and I liked that they had a shelf to put your key cards and luggage. They had spacious desks, lots of lighting throughout and a dual shade option to blackout the room for sleep. The coffee/tea bar has a Keurig maker, but leaked mini water bottles to make the coffee. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The bathroom lighting is quite harsh but there is a motion censored nightlight. By the TV is a cool curved touch light with European outlets. There are plenty of outlets with both standard and USB outlets. The only tiny thing i would add is a charging pad on the counters in case ppl forget their chargers. TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important. TIP: If you go behind the breakfast area in the main lobby area, you can sit in a less crowded area near the business center. Check out was just as fast and easy. She was unprofessional and very short with me when communicating though email even though I was nothing but friendly with her. When we first looked at the venue in person, she spent the whole time texting on her phone, and when I asked her questions about where couples typically have the ceremony she said "I don't really know anything about what they do because I am not here when they have the event." The worst part was the day of the event when Julia neglected to give me the passcode to enter---on the day of my wedding. We were doing the setup ourselves and working with very limited time and I ended up getting the code 45 minutes past when we should have had it! She claimed she "thought she had given it to me" and basically gave me a "whoops" when she looked back in her messages and found out she didn't. For a venue as nice as this, Julia certainly isn't doing them any favors. Otherwise, I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It is far more beautiful in person than what you see in the pictures, and the views from the inside and outside are amazing. I love that we could do both our ceremony outside in the sand, and our reception inside (with great views!) without having to have our guests change venues. It does, however, get very hot inside in the warmer months even with the fans and air conditioning since the place is screened in. All in all, the Lake House was the perfect casual, warm and inviting setting to have our small wedding!

The food was absolutely delicious. I checked with my guests and all 70+ had great things to say about the quality and freshness of the food. Everyone was able to eat till they were full and the leftovers she boxed up for us to take home. The staff at the reception was phenomenal. Helped the guests that weren't able to walk to buffet tables. All the food was cooked on-site and piping hot. Iced tea was perfect. Not to sweet not to biter, just right. Lemonade was on point as well. The lady can straight up COOK!!!!!. From beginning to end our entire experience was top notch A-1 couldn't have went any better. Not a single complaint from any guests. Donna provides the ultimate event venue . Having Donna made it possible for us to relax and concentrate on other things. There's a dance floor, separate rooms for the Bride and groom, elevator. She was very communicative throughout our entire planning process, which spanned well over a year. On the day of the event, Donna allowed us into the venue early in order to set up for the celebration. Everything about the process was courteous and professional, with a very personal touch of Southern Hospitality that was truly heartfelt. On the day of the event, Donna and her staff at Osbornes prepared an incredibly delicious buffet which included her famous Garlic Chicken, Beef Stew, Roasted Vegetables, Rice and Gravy. There were about 60 people in attendance and every single person absolutely raved about how good the food tasted (we even brought some of the leftovers back to Virginia because it was so good!). I would highly recommend OSBORNES for any event! The venue is Regal, the staff are professional, the food is Absolutely going to satisfy any palate and the owner is the Best.
