So it was my sophomore year at this school and this year was genuinely the WORST school year ever…read morefor me. Ima just say this now DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR A PERSON OF COLOR. The students here are racist and the teachers not staff do anything about it. My first day at this school I was constantly getting racially harassed all day and when I went to talk to a dean about it they did nothing. Also the lack of diversity in all of the activities that they have here is honestly really sad. I went to both of the prep rally's they had here (they sucked) but it was honestly disheartening to see the lack of people my skin color not really in anything there were only a few students my color in some activities. The teachers aren't that great but not too bad or whatever. They actually care about the autistic and special ed at this school. I was also racially profiled by an autistic kid and told one of the teachers and excused it and saying "it's because of their autism". The school itself was VERY dirty and some of the utilities were broken and I've spotted multiple roaches dead and alive in the cafeterias it was nasty dude and the power cut off at the school and it was hot all day. Also there was recently a flood that happened and they were moving us all around the school it was kinda unorganized But they tried I guess..I was also touched inappropriately by another autistic kid, and once and again it was excused because of their autism. Also the hallways are always super crowded bro it sucks. So anyways this was probably the worst school year I've ever had at a school and like I said before DO NOT COME HERE!!!

My child was bullied by students and by select staff members. Everybody was bullying everybody. There were staff members at this school who behaved worse than the student bullies. Select staff members violated the student code of conduct and the SCPS anti-bullying policy. Staff members were also derelict in this job duties as well. My child's academic progress was impeded by this school. I have never seen such a malicious, nonfunctioning, broken public school in my entire life. There are a few excellent teachers at this school for sure. But, there are also some absolutely rotten staff members at this school at the same time. The principal had no control over his staff at all. Some staff members were extremely mean, malicious, nasty, and abusive. Some staff members did not perform all of their job duties. I consider this school to be a D or F level school regardless of whatever official rating the state of Florida has given it. I do NOT recommend this school. Stay away from this school. I am a grown adult parent who wrote this review. I am reading reviews that students wrote on various review sites online. My assessment of their negative reviews is that they are telling the truth in their reviews. There are persons working at this school who were supposed to be fired for gross employee misconduct and who have not been fired. They bullied and mistreated students in the past and are probably continuing to bully and mistreat students even now because no one will do anything about it and no one will control them. I would give this school negative 5 stars if the system would let me because it was nothing but a bullying pit with both students and staff involved in the bullying of the most vulnerable students.

He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1969, and from 1973 to 1979 he was the Jesuit provincial superior in Argentina. He became the archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998 and was created a cardinal in 2001 by Pope John Paul II. Following the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI on 28 February 2013, a papal conclave elected Bergoglio as his successor on 13 March. He chose Francis as his papal name in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi. Throughout his papacy, Francis was noted for his humility, emphasis on God's mercy, international visibility, commitment to interreligious dialogue, and concern for the poor, migrants, and refugees. Francis believed the Catholic Church should demonstrate more inclusivity to LGBTQ people, and stated that although blessings of same-sex unions are not permitted, individuals in same-sex relationships can be blessed as long as the blessing is not given in a liturgical context.[2] Francis made women full members of dicasteries in the Roman Curia.[3][4] Francis convened the Synod on Synodality, which was described as the culmination of his papacy and the most important event in the Catholic Church since the Second Vatican Council.[4][5][6] Francis was known for having a less formal approach to the papacy than his predecessors by, for instance, choosing to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse rather than in the papal apartments of the Apostolic Palace used by previous popes. In addition, due to both his Jesuit and Ignatian aesthetic, he was known for favoring simpler vestments devoid of ornamentation, including refusing the traditional papal mozzetta cape upon his election, choosing silver instead of gold for his piscatory ring, and keeping the same pectoral cross he had as cardinal. Concerning global governance, Francis was a critic of trickle-down economics, consumerism, and overdevelopment;[7] he made action on climate change a leading focus of his papacy.[8] He viewed capital punishment as inadmissible in all cases,[9] and committed the Catholic Church to its worldwide abolition.[10] Francis criticized the rise of right-wing populism and anti-immigration politics, calling the protection of migrants a "duty of civilization".[11] Francis supported the decriminalization of homosexuality.[12] In international diplomacy, Francis helped to restore full diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States, negotiated a deal with the People's Republic of China to define Communist Party influence in appointing Chinese bishops, and encouraged peace between Israel and Palestinians, signing the Vatican's first treaty with the State of Palestine. In 2022 he apologized for the Church's role in the cultural genocide of Canadian Indigenous peoples in residential schools. From 2023 he condemned Israel's military operations in Gaza, calling for investigations of war crimes. Francis made his last public appearance on Easter Sunday before dying on 21 April 2025, Easter Monday.[13][14] The 2025 papal conclave elected Leo XIV as Francis's successor on 8 May. Leo XIV became the second pope from the Americas, after Francis.[15]
