Very rude, speaks don to customers. I have waited 3 days for a call back if they can even make the keys for the locks I left. Too interested in telling people how short staffed they are, but this has been 6 months! Organize and train someone. Get over your arrogance of being the only one that can do it. I had an issue with my front door lock feeling loose and catching when it was turned. I called Master Locksmith to come out...he asked if I had a dead bolt and I said yes. In that case, he said, you can remove the door knob, bring it in and save yourself a service call. I did and was a bit embarrassed when all it needed was a shot of WD40, which is usually my first go to when something like this is acting up. I'm grateful for their honesty and they're such nice people. I will definitely call them again if the need arises. read more

We have been happy with the work they have done on our large commercial building. The most recent improvement was the installation of "crash bars" on our exit doors, making our building safer for all who use it. They are always courteous and professional. On a personal note, they helped me get a new key fob and program it for my car. Every key copy they make works, unlike some other places around town that are not as careful cutting keys. read more

Had a very awkward and disappointing experience. I took a door knob into the store that I wanted rekeyed. I did not have the original key, so they said they would pick it to rekey it. All good. This was Friday morning and they offered to have it done in an hour, or to come back Monday. I took the latter. On Monday, I called and they said it would be ready in an hour, I got there an hour later and they hadn't done it. They started working on it and after 30 mins I offered to come back the next day. I will also say that while I waited and perused the materials posted on their window, I found some to be racially offensive. I should have taken my lock and left, but they were already into it, so I left and asked them to call me when it was done. No call came. I went back 2 days later, it was done and I paid. When I got home I found the latch was missing and had to return to the store to retrieve it. When I installed the knob, I found that the lock was functional, but not working correctly. The key spins all the way around in the lock and though it will unlock the door, you can only lock it (push the knob on the inside) if the key was removed in a horizontal position. Also, the handle had been badly scratched up. So, I would not recommend this company. read more

The Master Locksmith was of great help to me in a pinch. I was putting my house up for sale but couldn't get the front door dead bolt to lock and unlock so that real estate agents could access the house with the key in the lock box. Avoid these crooks. Sold us new latches and locks for a remodel. When the installation on the deadbolt failed making our front door inoperable, they charged us $90 for a 15 minute visit to correct THEIR error. Unacceptable. Go to Home Depot, they'll treat you right. read more
