I had the green goddess smoothie. It tasted like an ice cream almost because it was so rich and creamy, which I did not expect. Listed on the menu are only fruits and vegetables in the smoothie so I expected it to taste much different. The size was generous. They also serve wraps and salads. I might go back to try something else but I had high hopes and left a bit disappointed.

Highly recommend the Detox Juice and JH Acai bowl with peanut butter. Literally order the same each time. They make their own granola which is more like oats based than the typical crunchy granola. Different consistency but I'm a fan. They sell it separately on the side if interested. Sign up for their rewards programs so you can get random messages with deals and earn points to save on further purchases. Staff is always friendly, patient, and keep the space clean. If you're looking for a place to work from they definitely have the space and seats. Surprised I haven't seen many there but a good option.

The place is warm and inviting and I had a good time chatting with the owner. You can see the ingredients going into your smoothie and they are fresh and look to be high quality. Wonderful selection coupled with a friendly, knowledgeable owners and staff--and it's a perfect combo. Not only is the store absolutely beautiful inside, they have amazing stuff that's fun to browse. I always pop in here for funky hostess gifts or "just because" presents. When I first started going here it was a typical small mom and pop organic type store but in the last year or two I have definitely noticed they've shifted their focus away from food products (probably because Dean's Market opened across the street) and made over the store's interior as well. It's really pretty and this improvement has made the store even better! I really love the huge and well organized selection of crystals. Apart from the unique gift selection, jewelry, crystals, incense, diffusers, books, candles etc, they have a huge selection of the best natural beauty products, vitamins and supplements. Incredible selection of CBD products; and especially go if you are looking for someone to guide you who is completely knowledgable on what cbd stuff will work best for you--you can trust their recommendations! (That def cannot be said with how widespread and popular CBD products have gotten recently.) I have def had all my questions answered and they go above and beyond. Seriously though, I tend to ask lot of questions and want to know what people who are trying to sell me stuff use themselves and I always gets a straight answer here!! I have really loved everything they have recommended to me. TL;DR Love this store! Best health/natural store anywhere!

Exceptional service and wonderful food…read more I ordered the specialty chocolate bowl with peanut butter and granola (topped with strawberries and raspberries) and it was wonderful! I also ordered a frozen honeydew bubble tea (and tapioca pearls). The server was really wonderful and gave me the leftover honeydew bubble tea - which was the same size as a smaller order! I greatly appreciate their speed and kindness - and for not adding sugar or those horrific substitutes to their creations. To have bubble tea without extra sugar was fantastic! The establishment does have to work on its ambiance and how place orders and pay for them (right now, that's the same place). There's no bathroom, which I would expect from an NYC establishment but not East Stroudsburg.

Whenever I'm visiting family in central NJ, Grounded for Life is a must visit for me…read more As a vegan, it's a real challenge to find decent - let alone GOOD - food in this area. The exception is Grounded for Life, which offers delicious breakfast and lunch options that are thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and satisfying. Their extensive, all vegan menu offers breakfast options such as bagel sandwiches, burritos, toasts, and more, and even their coffee is surprisingly good! I have also enjoyed their wraps, bowls, and sandwiches. And they even have burgers and hot dogs, too. GfL is my new spot for takeout (order ahead online to save time!) before heading to the airport. The chunky chicken wrap saved me when my flight back to the West coast (already a long journey) was delayed by several hours and I was starving. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis. Service is friendly and efficient, but they are sometimes understaffed. Try to be patient and nice, and your tasty food will be out soon enough. The cafe itself is pretty small with just a few tables indoors. The outdoor patio is more expansive, and I recommend enjoying your food and drinks outside if the weather is decent.
